The cabin air filter is located underneath the dashboard and accessible through the glove box. To remove it, you'll have to "remove" the 2 latches (left & right) holding the glove box. Removing meaning the glove box is just lowered, (but still attached) and it'll give you access to the filter area. There is a kind of screw type latch where you'll need to turn and pull to remove a black coloured cover. Once the cover is removed, you'll see the cabin air filter, which is grey in colour. Pull it out and replaced with a new one. Good luck.

If you are talking about the car brand, YES! stick to the 2006 and newer models, they are light years apart from their older siblings. Quality is awesome , but, as with American cars, customer perception is everything and its gonna be a while before customers realize the great cars you can get for the price . What's their edge over the domestics?? purchase price, gas mileage to horsepower, styling, fit and finish. Il love my country but Ill buy an Optima over a Malibu,Impala, Fusion, G6 or the godawfull Sebring.

Go behind the headlight under the hood and turn the light bulb out,there is a clip holding it in place, snapped out of it,put the new one in get the clip back on it and turn it back in the headlight house

I have done it myself and here's whats involved.

I am a novice amateur beginner mechanic but I got a friend (auto electrician) to guide me.

You have to remove the engine in order to do this so you need to weigh up the costs of doing other replacements which cannot be reached easily.

Basic procedure:

1 remove bonnet

2 remove radiator

3 remove air box& inlet manifold and any other piping or electrical connections

4 remove engine

5 Disassemble engine, remove rocker covers and heads.

Replace:

1 Both head gaskets

2 Both rocker gasket

3 All head bolts

4 All spark plugs

5 Timing belt

6 Fan belts

7 Water pump

8 Pulley

9 Engine oil and filter

10 Coolant

Repair:

1 Have the heads machined flat.

This cost me $2200 AUD and 3-4 evenings to complete. I had quotes for $5500AUD to have a mechanic do it. It was very satisfying. If you decide to have a go yourself get a mate and a Haynes manual as this is a big but not impossible job.

With a screwdriver lift the black covering of the center console and remove over the handbrake. Snap back into place.

To change the bulb in tour taillight, you must first remove the light and open it. You can usually remove the screws and pop it off. Then just replace the bulb and put back together.
