Access the fog light by removing the headlamp assembly. You will need to remove some of the screw clips on the plastic trim panel at the front of the engine bay to reveal the retaining bolts for the headlamp assembly. After removing the assembly, the fog light can be easily accessed.

1. Drain the oil first. 2. Pop the hood of your 2006 KIA and look at the engine cover. As you are looking at it on the right hand side midway down from top to bottom you'll see the words "Oil Filter". They are in black, the same color as the base plastic, so they are hard to see. 3. Remove the engine cover by removing four screws (metric). 4. You will see a round black cap approx 4" in diameter to the right of the engine with the letters 25nM on it or some such numbers. 5. Grab that and turn counterclockwise to remove. It is difficult because there is an O ring that has been compressed to seal it...but keep trying until you completely remove it. 6. Pull the old cartridge away from the cap. You'll need to be careful not to break the plastic insert the fits inside the cartridge. Dispose of the cartridge. 7. Remove the rubber "O" ring at the end of the plastic insert and the rubber O ring that sits at the base of the cap you removed, near the base of the threaded plastic. 8. Replace these O rings by opening your new cartridge filter box, you'll see them inside a plastic bag. After you get them firmly in place take some of the old oil and lubricate them thoroughly...this isn't usually a problem because your fingers are oily anyway from getting them in place but make sure the new rings are lubricated thoroughly. 9. Now place the new cartridge over the metal slot inside the oil filter housing and push it firmly, but carefully into its position in the filter housing until it is seated. In essence, you are pushing the filter over a metal lip so it rests flush against the oil housing base. 10. Now take your oil filter cap, with new "O" rings applied (they have to be replaced with each change) ensuring you are not cross threaded and screw the cap down. You will notice that once you screw the cap on it will be more resistant when you get to the O ring because it is compressing to seal the cap. Continue to screw the cap down until it stops. Comment: I found this much easier than crawling under the vehicle and loosening a cannister type oil filter which inevitably has oil running down my arm by the time I finish. This is different but not unpleasant. The hardest part is getting the small O ring off the plastic insert, but otherwise this is a better, more convenient oil filter change. One other note: I started to order my oil filter from NAPA thinking the dealer would charge a horrendous amount. NAPA quoted me a price of $12.99 and they had to order it. The dealer was 6.99 and they had them in stock...I bought two for the same price NAPA was going to charge me. Auto Zone and Advanced Auto didn't have them in their computers yet.

Just in case anyone comes across this reply when looking for how to adjust Sorento headlights: the answer above is wrong. Sorento headlights are adjustable up & down, and side to side with a Phillips screwdriver. In addition, some Sorentos have and in-vehicle headlight adjustment switch so you can adjust for extra weight in the rear while you are driving.

depends on with model,but generally pop hood look at back of headlight assembly, u should see thick wire harness going to the back of each headlight assembly,where it meets the assembly has a large round piece turn it and it should undo allowing access to the headlight bulb.

Are you assuming "ESC OFF" is "escape off?"

ESC is Electronic Stability Control in most vehicles.

They are built with a high density foam and a ratchet assembly is molded into the foam. They can't be fixed without destroying them. Better off just replacing them with one from a scrap yard or a dealer.

I just replaced our engine in our new to us '02 Sedona 3.5l. It cost us $2300 and I think that we got out cheaper than most. That's still too much for the POS! Had 144K and replaced it with one that reportedly has 65k.

There is a large plastic cover under the hood covering the engine. On right side it says "oil filter". Under that is the oil filter. You need to remove the 4 bolts holding on the plastic cover and then remove the cap to the oil filter (with an oil filter wrench). The oil filter is inside. The cap does not get replaced.

It is to the right of the windshield washer's fluid reservoir. Remove the cap and fill to between the minimum and maximum line stamped on the outside of the reservoir. Make sure you fill to between these two lines. There is also a dipstick built into the cap. Make sure you have the fluid in the crosshatched section of the dipstick. Replace the round black cap. If you are having to fill up the power steering reservoir often (more than once every year or two) you probably have a leak. Look for fluid on the engine's serpentine belt as the Power steering pressure line is routed directly above the serpentine belt on its way to the rack and pinion steering unit at the rear of the engine bay. This results in the serpentine belt having p/s oil on it and the p/s pulley will often slip, making it feel as if your power steering pump is bad. These pressure lines often leak at the first crimping connection directly above the power steering pump's pulley wheel. The entire line has to be replaced (consumer's price at the dealer is approximately $140). Most backyard mechanics can replace this line (2 connections - one at each end (21mm & 17mm flare nut) & 2 clamps (13mm)) without much problem, although it is a bit tricky to snake it back along the firewall. Two people make it an easy install. This will save about another $130 or so to have the dealer install it. Make sure you use a flare nut wrench at the steering rack end, as the nuts used in most fluid line connections are softer than the boss that they are screwed into to ensure a leak-free connection. Use a funnel to fill the [power steering reservoir to the correct level, then turn the engine on and continue to slowly fill to the correct level. Have a second person turn the steering wheel to full left then full right about 8 - 10 times to "bleed" the air out of the system. Check for leaks at both ends of the power steering pressure line. Using a pressure car wash hose to rinse all of the p/s fluid from the serpentine belt and engine will stop it from slipping, as the fluid had tended to splay all over the side of the engine and engine bay.

The oil filter is above the frame "behind" the right front tire. It is a bit of chore to get at and especially one has to be careful putting on the new on - even my dealer when I switched to Synthetic Oil and same brand long life filter, managed to cross thread the new filter which resulted in a oil blow out past the gasket! Fortunately due to the synthetics which I have been using since 1981, no damage and oil changes are literally a once a year item (no, they CAN'T void the warranty - they have to prove that one's "habits" are a direct cause of the problem).

It is fairly simple. Just use the flat screw driver and find the "flat" concave part at the edge of the light cover, and push it in at the same time pull out the cover. Then remove the light bolt and install the new one. Then put the cover back will sound a click.
