My owners manual recommends premium for optimum performance. I alternate between premium and regular. If you repeatedly use regular with 87 octane you might notice knocking when travelling uphill. My owners manual recommends Plus with an octane rating of 89. For improved performance it recommends premium with an octane rating of 92 or higher. NEVER use Regular with an octane rating of 87.

The key to keeping this replacement simple is to purchase the correct rear blade which is a little tricky to find since it has a special mounting system. Lexus cars are very nice when they are new, once you drive more than 40,000 miles then problem start. The steering wheel is always shaking from day one and need rotor surface and tire balance all the time. They make good engine and nice ride, but do not expect trouble free car. Still after 65,000 miles expect oil leak. This particular model has a lot of trouble. It costs me a lot to keep it running so far, it has 172,000 miles, and seem still running. As I said it costs me a lot to keep it running that far and probably I will keep going to see how much more I drive with this model.

with the odometer reading visible, (not trip A or trip B..) turn off engine. While keeping Odo/trip button depressed, turn ignition back on (not starting the engine) You will see dashes (instead of numbers) on your odometer disappearing one at a time. it will be replaced by 0's (zeros).. Release the Odo/trip button and your original mileage will come up....

And your done..... until the next oil change.

For 2010 and later model years:

The odo has to be set to Trip A (different than older models, and yes, the owner's manual is wrong)

-With the odo set to TripA, turn the car off

- Push and hold the Odo button

- Without your foot on the brake, push the start button twice

- Watch the maintence dashes count down to 0, then release the odo button

The fuel tank for a Lexus 2009 RX 350 holds approximately 19.2 gallons. The car gets between 17-18 miles to the gallon in the city and 22-23 miles to the gallon on the highway.

The P0300 is a multiple miss-fire code. The P1130 & P1135 are fuel air metering codes. Generally speaking you want to fix the first fault code in the list if you pull multiple codes at once. One code can cause other codes to appear. Fix the multiple miss-fire problem, clear the codes and see if the other two comeback.
