You should use only premium in the 2009 rx350. If the manual says premium gas only, then you should stick with it to avoid any problems that may arise.

I finally found the drains in each corner of the sunroof. They were covered with dirt. You can't see the ones in the rear of the sunroof but you can feel them with a screwdrive with the roof in the tilt position. I used weed eater cable to clean them. I also found 2 drains for where the water running down the front window drains. The drains for this area were clogged right below the windshield. I am starting to believe that this was my problem area rather than the sunroof. All drains are now clear and I am waiting to see if all is well.

What I found is to take off bottom part of the Grill which is held on by Philips head screws, easy to get to. Then using a 10mm socket unbolt the top bolt holding on the headlamp assembly. Now the tricky part. There are 2 10mm nuts holding on the headlamp assembly inside the fender. You must unbolt the wheel well plastic liners, but not all the way. Only take off the bottom 3 10mm screws from under the bumper and the 2 10 mm screws inside the front portion of the wheelwell. Then using a small Phillips head screw driver unscrew the first 2 screws inside the lip of the wheelwell. This should allow you to pull back the liner and reach inside the wheelwell and unbolt the headlight assembly. The top nut use a short extension on the socket and the bottom nut use a long extesion. And the headlight assembly should tilt up slightly and pull out enough to remove the wiring hookups. Remember you will need to save the nuts you take off because they do not come with the new assembly. Also install the black trim piece in the headlamp prior to installing. Total time 2 hours for 2 headlamps.

The thickness is more important than the diameter so that it can hold together the visor and the roof. Magnet goes between the visor and the roof - you can't see it when the visor is in the up position.

Check the calipers on the car to see which one is frozen. Most likely you have a stuck wheel caliper that is causing the frozen problem and will have to be replaced.

To replace the upper light on the hatchback door, the plastic trim piece just snaps in place, once that is removed the light assembly snaps down to reveal the bulb. The stop lights on the body have the attaching screws covered by plastic plus, just pry them out and remove the screws and the assembly can be removed

Hi, I have a 1999 RX300, and I'm assuming that Lexus didn't make any significant changes to the engine compartment from 1999 to 2000. Once you have the hood open, look on the left front side of the compartment. My washer reservoir has a black pryoff cap with a symbol on it that looks like a windshield wiper. It also has some printing that says, "Washer Fluid Only". There isn't a separate reservoir for the rear window washer, so if you fill the reservoir, and you still aren't getting any washer fluid to the rear window, then you must have a different problem. Loosen the clips on the housing that contains the air filter. Should be located on the driver's side of the engine compartment. You might have to push down on the housing to allow the clips to get free. Once most of the clips are loose you should be able to pry the airbox opened partly (enought to expose and remove filter) at that point you can remove filter and install new filter in same position as previous. make sure the box is positioned properly over the existing base and new filter and then fasten the clips again. If you think its too complicated, you shouldn't be doing it yourself.
