just one thing, don't go to Canadian tire to replace it. you need somebody who knows Lincoln. They broke my table when trying to remove the ball joint on my 1999 cont 4,6 lit.

the door ajar is connected to the door lock mechanism. you will have to take the inner door panel off. there are two Phillips head screws located on the outer edge of door where lock mech. is remove these take out whole assembly note you will have to unplug wires. to reinstall reverse steps

follow the top radiator hose from the radiator to the engine, there should be two screws that hold it in. drain the coolant before hand so you dont have a mess on your hands, your going to have some dripping regardless but not a lot when you disconnect the hose from the thermostat housing. take out the screws and you should find your thermostat, just remember which way it goes back because its hard if you dont know how it opens. consult your local auto store for a print out of where it is on the vehicle if they have it, good luck

ok, this requires you to have a special tool that you can rent, naw better buy it, its better that way. if you feel the center of your tensioner, there should be a hole to place your special tool in, ask the parts store clerk if your not sure. you have to insert the tool into the center hole and pull to the front of the car, youll see the belt get loose, hold it and ease the belt off BUT dont let go of the tool, try your best to get the belt up and over the tool and put the new one on the same way that you tool off the old one. If you let the tensioner go you will have the damnest time getting it back to where you need it, ok. as long as you put it on the same way that you took it off, you should be fine. Give me a haller back if succeeded. max

Check the number 11 fuse under the cabin fusebox. I checked mines and it was fried. I changed it it should be an ATM 10 fuse in the 11 slot. My car works fine.
