How do you take the transmission out of a 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII?

First you take out the driveshaft, then take out the starter "make sure to unhook the negitve battery cable" then take out the exshaust from the manifolds back. "i found it easy to take this out in 1 piece" Then unhook the shift linkage and electical plugs. use a tranny jack or floor jack with a wood block to slightly take some weight off the tranny, then take out the crossmember. then take off the tourque converter inspection plate. then tale off the four tourque converter bolts. then take out the six engine to tranny bolts and pull her out. On my 93 I had to remove the gas tank. But it wasn't bad, just four bolts lower it down and undo the filler tubes and fuel supply but be carful not to brake the clips on them. And also, there's a u shaped bar and shroud that goes bellow the drive shaft, it goes one way so make sure you put it on right or it while rub.

How do you remove the airbags on a 1991 Lincoln Mark VII LSC?

The ~safety~ air bag on a 1991 should not be serviced by the vehicle owner. Replacement suspension air bags (springs) come with complete instructions (Arnott, StrutMasters, etc). The seller/manufacturer should gladly provide the buyer with a set even BEFORE purchasing the product. This is in their best interest to show you juyst how easy it is to install their product. If not, I'd move on to the next seller/manufacturer. Jack up your car, get to the air bag, turn the solenoid with vise grips, once the air is out turn the "fat" part at the top to unlock it. its kinda like your power steering cap on your car... it fits into place and turns to lock in. Now at the bottom of your a-arm remove the clip around the little stub that you see. kinda like a cotter pin... But like they said go to strutmasters.com and get some springs!!! 219.00 with shipping included and all instructions also. Hey also visit www.lincolnsonline.com

You just changed the alternator on a 90 LSC you are having trouble getting the belt tensioner back on Is there a trick?

im going on the assumption that you are referring to the belt back on the tensioner cause there is no reason to remove the tensioner to install an alt. if it is a matter of putting the belt on, make sure that the belt is routed correctly through the pulleys. then remove the belt off the alternator, put the belt on the tensioner THEN pull the tensioner back with a wrench on the tensoiner adjusting nut. slip the belt on the alternator and slowly release the wrench. i hope this was helpful

How does the current flow to the fuel pump on a 1991 Lincoln mark vii lsc?

In a 1991 Lincoln Mark VII LSC, the fuel pump is activated by the fuel pump relay, which receives a signal from the engine control module (ECM). When the ignition is turned on, power flows from the battery through the fuse to the relay, which then completes the circuit to the fuel pump. The system is designed to ensure the pump operates only when needed to maintain optimal fuel pressure.
