----- Apple Inc. is different from every other computer manufacturer in the fact that the company not only makes computers (hardware), but also the operating systems that run on them (software). Apple's line of desktop and notebook computers are collectively called Macs (Mac is short for Macintosh), and its operating system is called Mac OS X (X is pronounced "ten" - it is the roman numeral, not the letter). Apple's line of portable computing devices are known as iPhone and iPod touch. They do not run Mac OS X, but rather a scaled down version of the same operating system called iPhone OS X. ----- Windows Movie Maker will not run in Mac OS X, the native operating system installed on Apple computers. However, all current Mac models (as of October 2008) will allow Windows to be installed via Boot Camp, VMWare Fusion, or Parallels Desktop for Mac. If Windows is installed on the computer, then it is possible to run Windows Movie Maker on Apple branded hardware.

The drivers are built into Mac OS X so updating to the latest version will give you the latest drivers. Nvidia did have some manufacturing problems and Apple will make repairs free of charge if this is an issue for you. (See links below)

You can simply drag the application into the trash, or right click on the application and select Move To Trash from the menu, and then empty the Trash to remove an application. Some applications come with an Uninstaller which you run as an application and it will remove the application and its associated preference and support files.

U could press the "Pr Scrn" button on the keyboard directly. or Press the CTRL+"Pr Scrn" button at the same time.

Restart your mac and when it turns on hold down command + S until a black screen with weird code comes up, when this happens stop holding down. When your mac has finished loading all of the codes (give it a while) type in fsck -fy then type mount -uw / then type (btw "user" is where you put in your username you want to change the password for) passwd "user" if you don't know you username type ls /Users/

This really depends on your budget and what you're planning to record! Are you doing strictly techno/electronic music? 96 piece orchestras? Vocal and acoustic guitar?

The best software is the one you like to work with. I've gone through 6-7 different types (Pro Tools, Sonar, Cubase, Logic, Samplitude, Reaper, Tracktion and more) and eventually found that I prefer 3 separate software applications for different uses.

I like Pro Tools HD for mixing. Cubase for tracking. and Logic for techno/electronic productions.

For the ability to play the latest games go with Windows, but Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional is better because Windows Vista is facing several problems, & it would be best to avoid any headaches, but if gaming is not your main thing of your enjoyment go with a Mac, due to their long life, ease of use, less problems, & looks. Now with a Mac you have the ability to boot into Windows with Boot Camp, so you would have the use of Windows.

Providing everyone is connected to the same game on the same server it will not matter which computer they are using.

Consider a system that would like to run both Windows 7 and two different distributions of Linux (e.g., Ubuntu, and Gentoo). Each operating system will be stored on disk. During system boot-up, a special program (boot manager) will determine which operating system to boot into.

So, rather than booting to an operating system, the boot manager will first run during system startup. The boot manager is responsible for determining which system to boot into. Often, boot managers provide the user with a selection of systems to boot into. Example boot manager is Grub, LILO which come from Linux environment.

I just bought mine for 1900$ its got a 15.5 inch screen i7 processor (most recent) 4gb of memory and 540gb on the hard drive. This is one of the higher end models, if you go with the the 13 inch screen and a i5 processor you can probably get one around 1200-1400.

You can either browse the range of MacBook Pro's available on eBay or you can purchase a second hand MacBook Pro at the Apple Store under "Refurbished items". You can usually find discounts of up to $1000 at the refurbished items store online at Apple. That's if you wanted a second hand MacBook Pro. You can find cheaper than store bought new MacBook Pro's on eBay but don't expect to find them anywhere else.

MacBook Air:

Were made to easily travel with, it is very portable, .68 inches at it's highest point, and lightweight, less than 3 lbs. You have to sacrifice some power in exchange for portability. They come in an 11 inch and 13 inch model. The computer speed is about 2.0 GHz. They are in a solid state (no moving parts) and have a flash drive instead of a hard drive, which are much smaller and faster. They can have from 64 GB space to 512 GB, but keep in mind that the price inclines with the storage.

MacBook Pro:

Still portable, but not as much as the Macbook Airs, .91 inches and weigh just less than 5 lbs. These machines have a lot more power, 2.5 GHz, you are able to render videos faster, load up a lot heavier software without slowing down. The Pro has 500 GB storage. Has a DVD drive and burner. Plus, this computer is MUCH cheaper than the Air.

Both computer have the backlit keyboard.

Both have about 7 hrs battery (except for the 11 inch Air, has 5 hrs.)

Both have a webcam

When you get down to it, you need to consider what the use of the computer will be. If you're using it for business, schooling, lots of storage, or any other subject that will require lots of GHz, go with the MacBook Pro. If you use your computer for travel, easy work (emailing, Facebook, streaming) then go with the Air. You can check out Apple.com for pricing and information.

Programs on Mac OS X do not normally use .dll files (some Microsoft products for the Mac do). Instead they use .dylib files, which have a completely different structure.

Microsoft have never supported Access on the Mac. This is generally considered a good thing. If you have to use the diabolical Access you will need ODBC drivers such as those from Actual Technologies (See links below) or, depending what you are trying to do - amount and complexity of data etc., you may be able to export from Access in an SQL usable form and import that into suitable database software on the Mac.

Ok so what you want to do, is to first of all open up Photo Booth. Then drag the picture you want as your screen saver to the desktop. Then open up system preferences, then click Accounts, then it shows a picture of a icon or a previously selected pic. You then just simply change it. ( If you know how from there)
