Go into the game folder and see if there is an UNinstaller, if there isn't then you might try going to the game company's support site and see if they have one.
If not then simply drag the game itself or the whole game folder (not the outer application folder with other apps in it, just the game folder) to the trash. You can uninstall Steam games from your computer with their Steam application.
You don't HAVE to do this next part as they are usually just the games support files. BUT, depending on what company it is or what game store you bought it from the saves may be in these files and can take up from a few MB to 50 or 60 Gigs of storage.
Be careful of this next part as some game publishers and game stores like MacGameStore.com, Feral Interactive, etc, install multiple game files in one folder, so if you throw away the folder you throw away shared game support files from different games from that company.
Go into the Users /Library /Application Support- folder and see if there is a folder with your game name on it and drag that one to the trash. It may be listed under the game company/game store name, if so then open the game company's folder and only drag the named game support files you no longer want to the trash. You may have to open some of the folders up to find it as they don't make it clear some times. Go to the game company's support site and find out for sure if your not sure.
Next go to Users /Library/ Preferences folder and find your game name and toss that one also. Usually it will only be an individual file. These are only around a few KBs.
