I suppose that if you are having sexual intercourse then you have a possibility of being pregnant because no form of contraception is 100% effective (though some are VERY close to it!) but if you do not have any symptoms of pregnancy other than that, I would not worry. well im a girl so i should know. lots and lots of blood. well if you have a heavy flow then yea. if you have a light flow then your lucky cause not that much blood comes out of your vaginal area. also one egg that is like microscopic comes out each time you are on your period. and sometimes red clumpy bloody things come out. its really nasty. well yeaa........ hope you had fun reading this lol.

When you see a dark tint to any discharge after or during or before a menstrual cycle though i would be VERY suspicious for an OLD bleed of some sort. there are so many things but 1st would be to make an appt. with your gyno'. there are conditions that can cause abnormal bleeding throughout menstrual cycles however: endometriosus, hormonal changes, such as an incomplete cycle due to either a possible pregnancy or birth control pills. or possibly as i said endometriosis or some other possible ailments, cysts, nodules , scar tissue, or something in or around that type of category. and ##1 rule of thumb is red blood is normally not something to be really alarmed about , but dark or maroon colored blood means OLD blood which is IN GENERAL not a good sign . when you get in the shower use some body wash or soap that smells good then when you get out make shore you have a dry and clean towel and dry yourself off then put on some perfume and deodorant and clean clothes then you will smell good.

Girls normally stop there period on the seventh day so you can mark on your calender when yoau got it and from the first day you get it you keep track on your calender and on the seventh day you should be done but you get it evey 28 days . (Keeping track is the easiest way to know when you startes and when you stop.)

heavy is when it's so much that it's all you feel and think about during the day and you feel as if you always need to change your tampon. or so that's what it is for me. i don't usually feel/think about my period when it's light.
