Not normally ... her body thinks its pregnant.
Can you get a period 2 weeks after finishing a cycle?
Yes; it usually happens to girls shortly after they have gotten their first period, who are still going through puberty. Some women have irregular menstruation periods until they get pregnant.
Do women stop growing after they start menstruating?
Growth is not a process that stops. Even a adult grows, but of course, it is during puberty that your body suffers all the changes that it is due to change.
A girl, when she receives her period, her whole body starts to change: her breasts start to grow, as well as her body structure (bones, muscles, hip, etc), her face shapes start to change, she starts to grow hair, etc. You stop noticing this enormous change when you are around 15 and then you eventually don't notice almost any change in your body (besides becoming thin or fat) through the rest of your life. But you still grow a few inches, slowly, through the years, and when you are older, that is the other time when you notice another change in your body.
No. Menarche starts for most girls between 11 and 13, but any girl continues to grow until about her 19th birthday.
What causes you to have periods for months?
Some girls have irregular periods and that could be completely normal for you. You should keep a record of when you start and stop each period for a few months and then take that to your doctor. They can check you out to see if there are any real problems, but most likely will just put you on birth control to give you a normal cycle.
Women tend to have more vaginal discharge during their ovulation period. This type of discharge should be virtually colorless and odorless. However, if the discharge has a foul odor and/or has a color of yellow, green, or looks curdlike with perhaps itchyness, this could be a sigh of an infection. Jessica
It can be just from ovulation. However, if your periods are irregular, it can be a sign of implantation and you are pregnant if sexually active. Spotting before a period was due was my first sign that I was pregnant.
What is the normal time for a girl to get her first period?
Every girl is different. Some girls get theirs at 12 years old, some not till 18. If you're worried about when you're going to get yours, don't worry at all. There is no exact moment or age when a girl gets her first period.
If you're still worried about it, make an appointment with your doctor.
Hope this helps.
Someone wrote tampons would slow down you period and they don't. Birth control pill often make you bleed less and there are also other pills. In my case also the painkillers do it because when taking muscle relaxers the cramp goes away so I bleed less. But talk to your doctor because there is help top get. A heavy period is not healthy in the long run. I have to take extra iron and B12 or I go anemic.

Yes it can because you are fighting off an infection and the antibiotics put your Ph levels off. Once you are over your bout of antibiotics (approx. 2 - 3 days after) you'll get back to normal. Meanwhile eat Cultured Yogurt which helps balance the Ph level, settle the tummy and also stop diarrhea if the certain individual reacts to antibiotics in this way.
Yes. They often make your period early, although in some cases they make it late or just not arrive at all
How does a girl get her period?
As girls turn into young women they will notice breast development, hair growth, and menstruation. The first change that the female will probably notice is the change in their breasts. Then you should get a cupped bra. Shortly after the breast development she will notice the beginning of pubic hair. Around 12 years old she will notice the growth of underarm hair and on their legs; shaving may be necessary around this age. The females menstrual period will most likely come between the ages of ten and 16 1/2. A period is when you pee blood. Once the female has her period, her ovaries will release an egg. If this egg is fertilized by a males sperm, the egg will turn into an embryo (developing baby). If the egg is not fertilized, the uterus will shed it's lining because it is not needed (this is where the menstrual blood comes from). For both men and women, they may experience a change in hormones that may cause their skin to become oil. This extra oil may result in an increased amount of occasional pimples or acne. During this time period, the female will also grow in height and gain weight as well as form a more womanly body shape (her hips will widen in proportion with the rest of her body's growth).
Why would I have brown and red spotting 11 days after your period?
The brownish spots that you are seeing is your body cleaning out all of the blood that was left inside while you were on your period. Blood drys a very dark brown so when it comes out a few days later that's all that is. So don't be too worried.
How do you not have a period while on birth control?
To skip/delay you period while on birth control, you are supposed to start a new pack of pills on the day that you would start your placebo pills. Basically you will skip your placebo week and replace it with an active week by starting a new pack of pills. This may cause you to either skip your period, or delay it. Usually by doing this, it only delays your period, and your cycle will be off next month, meaning you will no longer get your period on the same day that you normally would. Also, by doing this, most likely you will experience breakthrough bleeding.
You took a birth control pill by mistake will it mess my period up?
If you took your birth control pills late, it is very likely that your cycle will be disrupted, however, I would still be aware of my body and do a pregnancy test.
Is there any medicine that will stop period for a month?
The use of the birth control pill can extend the length of time before a period occurs, this can vary a lot but is usually around 1 period every year. This is achieved by continuously taking the pill without the 28 day cycle of breaks. This was just added to make women "feel more comfortable" as the guys who decided thought a woman would freak out at no longer having periods. There is no added risk by continuously taking the pill so you only get your period at a much less frequent rate. If you are already on the pill I would suggest not having a period every month, why would you not just ask your doctor about it. All the ones I ask act as if you should be doing it already they just don't tell you unless you ask for some reason.
What is the difference between PMS and pregnancy symptoms?
Everyone is different. Women who have bloating, tender breasts, will find that they go on for longer than usual and the period will not arrive. Other women will have no symptoms of either. I used to have no pre-menstrual symptoms at all then when I became pregnant and my period was a day late my breasts became very sore and hard.
Is it a bad sign not to have a menstrual period at all?
It's not necessarily bad, but it is something that you should have checked out by a doctor. There are many things that can keep an otherwise normal young woman from having a period for a long time - extreme dieting, very intense exercise program - but there are some diseases and hidden illnesses that can also be the underlying cause. Some of those illnesses may not have any other symptoms, and may be easily treatable before giving you other problems, so see a doctor. He or she will be able to find the cause, and if needed, begin treatment.
First period is brown what does that mean?
DOn't worry, it's not unusual on early / late days of the cycle, but if you feel there is anything unusual, the best idea is to go to a family planning / sexual health clinic because they are there to allay your fears and it's never worth sitting at home worrying. It's always a good idea to use it as an opportunity to get checked for other things too and just to put your mind at rest. Blood color indicates what is going on with the blood. Red blood has oxygen in it and blue blood has more carbon dioxide in it then oxygen. Brown indicates that the blood cells have quit being active or have died. If there is odor along with the color it may be of greater concern. As the other writer suggests, get it checked on. Dwight

What is the best tampon brand to wear while swimming?
There is no specific tampon that's best to use - it's down to personal preference.
As always it's best to avoid rayon tampons like Tampax, Playtex, and Kotex which pose higher risks of TSS and irritation, cotton tampons like Emerita, Cottons, and Natracare are the best option. Make sure to use lowest absorbency for your flow and time it t insert a fresh tampon before swimming.
Consider menstrual cups instead, cups are internal like tampons but safer and more hygienic so no health risks - this means unlike tampons cups can be worn for up to 12 hours and even with light flow without risk of infections or TSS - cups have nothing showing externally, don't absorb water, don't increase menstrual cramps as tampons can, and menstrual cups don't leak.

When in the menstrual cycle is fertilisation likely to occur?
I would think when your period is the lightest. People say that having sex during your cycle is harder to get pregnant. So, when your almost done with your period I would think or when its almost over. If you don't wanna have sex on your period whenever your off is good. I hope this helps, sorry if it doesn't.
The odds of being fertile during your menstrual cycle is very unlikely. You could say there's a 95% chance you are not fertile. Keep in mind, you are the LEAST fertile a week prior to menstruation and a week after. However, it is possible to conceive during this time. It's just highly unlikely.
