Can trying to have a baby change menstrual cycle?
No, trying to have a baby can't change your menstrual cycle - think about it, your body is designed to try for a baby every cycle, it cannot tell when you have actually decided to try to get pregnant, not to mention it would make little sense for trying to have a baby to change your cycle. If you want to try for a baby then it may help for you to learn the basics about how babies are made first.

What does a painful period mean?
It could mean a variety of things. The most common thing that it could mean is that you have a normal cramping associated with the period. Some women experience fairly intense discomfort during the cramps, a few even have very painful cramps. This is quite normal. It could, possibly, be associated with an infection, or a sexually transmitted infection. The severity of the pain (how much it hurts) should determine what it could be - and that is something that you would have to speak with a doctor about. The pain, if it is anything more than discomfort, should be brought to the attention of a professional.
Spotting before you get a heavier flow is very normal...If you are normally like clockwork and you only have spotting and do not get a regular flo within the next 3-4 days then it is very possible that you are pregnant and that the spotting is implantation bleeding.
you might be pregnant and the reason your hpt is negative is low hcg levels in your urine--but your period can be delay by other health concerns like stress,etc..but i suggest you go to your doctor and ask for a blood test--the blood test will confirm you're pregnant or not and will even pick up low hcg and its more accurate than a hpt--i hope i help you--best of luck
Unfortunately it doesn't say here if you've recently started taking BC pill. If you have recently started taking BC pills then this bleeding may be normal. For example when a Woman starts taking BC pills during her period, this period will be different from her 2nd period which will occur when the Woman has been on BC pills for 4 weeks. The 2nd period will be a lot lighter than your usual period prior to starting BC Pills & this is perfectly normal. However if you've been on BC pills for a while & suspect pregnancy, then I would advise yu see your Doctor for a Quantitative beta HCG pregnancy blood test. You'll need to ask your Doctor specifically for this blood test so write down the name of it. This test can be performed 7 days after conception has taken place (or suspected conception) & is 100% accurate. It will take 3 days for the results to come back to your Doctor.

Do oil tampons help to ease labor?
Yes, oil tampons can help by lubricating and moisturizing vaginal tissues - but it's important you talk to your doctor about this before using them. The best thing to do is use coconut oil or olive oil to massage the external genitalia twice daily for the last month or so leading up to your due date. As well as helping prevent damage during labor both these oils can help prevent yeast infections.

Why is a women's pain threshold at its lowest before and during her period?
As per http://ask.bmezine.com/2008/06/14/mensuration-lowered-pain-threshold/, " It is down to the presence of prostaglandins which play a part in the sloughing off of the womb lining. Unfortunately for us, prostaglandins make the nociceptors (pain receptors) in the brain more sensitive. As a point of interest, if you suffer from bad period pains you will be more sensitive to pain around this time in general, as the worse the cramps, the higher the level of prostaglandins. "
You may be pregnant. Do a test 3 weeks after you last had sex.

Is it bad when your tampon string gets bloody but your tampon is only a little bloody?
Your tampon should be completely saturated with blood after 4-6 hours - if the tampon is dry when removing then you need to use a lower absorbency or switch to pads. If the string is getting blood on it some may be from blood lingering in the vaginal canal before tampon insertion, but it may also be that blood is simply bypassing the tampon. Try different TYPES (not just brands) of tampon, you may also want to consider menstrual cups which don't leak.

Running cramps can be stopped by staying hydrated through the day.Dont just drink water right when you are about to go running you body needs to already have plenty of water in it. Also eat a banana for potassium which is good for running and drink a lot of Gatorade and powerade for electrolytes.I prefer powerade because it is enriched with electrolytes and many ion"s and tons of other vitamins that is not provided in Gatorade. Hope this helps.

What could cause a different smell and tingling urination and a late period?
You probably have a bladder infection or a yeast infection for a bladder infection drink lots of water and some kind of cranberry juice and if that does not help you will need an antibiotic and if it is a yeast infection it will itch some times go to the store and get some yeast infection cream or it may not be nothing except you need to douche with summer eve vinegar douche and if you use tampons a piece may have broken off and is still in you and that could cause your problem.
I disagree with the above concerning the douching - douching actually changes the pH level within and can cause a yeast infection if you do not have one - douching is not for everyone. And as a person that had chronic bladder infections in the past if that is the case you will need to visit a doctor and be treated for it - they just don't go away on their own, the symptoms may subside for a bit but they will continue to reoccur if not treated properly and inevitably become worse.
As a nurse I think it is best that you go to your local clinic or doctor and have a urine test done and maybe even a PAP - those symptoms are also symptoms of a variety of STD's.
