Drain off the excess oil and top up to the correct mark.
The relay is located in the right front of the engine compartment passengers side. There will be a black cover, release the 2 slide clips and remove the cover for access.
The designation for the relay is K40/7ko.
If your looking in at the relays from the passengers side of the engine compartment it should be the 4th relay from the left, once you pull the relay off it will have a designation under it. It should read O.
The fuse is in the same compartment. It's the first 40amp large orange fuse next to the 60amp large fuse. Check with ohm meter because the fuse is hard to determine if blown by the eye.
The pre cat sensors are under the hood. Bank 1 Sensor 1 would be found between the engine and fire wall on the drivers side near the stearing knuckle. You need to open the hood to full verticle via the release on drivers side and then remove the engine cover.
The two post cat sensors are located on the exhaust under the car near the cat.
On the 1994 e230 its between exhaust manifold and firewall in the engine compartment. Small space. Its all black and hard to see in broad dayight. Looks like a standard oilfilter and you need the oilfilter extraction tool with a ratchet and extension. Take it out upward.
Assuming you are standing on the drivers side, lightly pull the windshield wiper towards you until you hear a click and then lightly pushit back down.
If they don't have their seatbelt and are sitting in the seat the SRS light will come on.

Press and hold the circled button (mute) in the bottom left
Press and hold the circled button (phone) in the bottom right
Press and hold the circled button (serv) in the top left
Simultaneously hold all 3 buttons for about 45 seconds until you
get a message on the screen which says "Welcome to
Engineering Mode".

To enter the secret menu
Press and hold the "*" star key
Press and hold the "#" hash key
Press and hold the "<" arrow left key
Simultaneously hold all 3 buttons as indicated above -
To access the video in motion menu press the button next to
Dr.Dist.
Using the arrow keys deactivate all of settings with the OK button.
Press the back button to get back to the main menu.
To access the MP3 enabling menu press the button next to
Backd.
Using the arrow keys, highlight the MP3 feature and enable it
using the OK button.
Now go back to the main menu using the back button.
To access the DVD region menu, press the button next to regcod.
Using the arrow keys, highlight the region free setting and enable it
using the OK button.
To activate the settings press back then end and switch the
command console off then back on again.
All setting may be activated and de-activated as many times as
you want.
Leave the key in there for up to 40 hours. Eventually it will connect and you can turn the key.

If you can't turn the ec light off by using the button it means there is a problem with the a/c system (low refrigerant level). There was an issue with a setting (only a dealer can change) on some cars in the a/c control panel that causes the unit to think the refrigerant level is low. The dealer would check the refrigerant level and if it was ok, they would change the setting.
