Dear Reader; Only your health care provider can answer that question since a reason for the miscarriage is not known to me. I do want to share with you a little about miscarriage. Miscarriage also known as spontainious abortion can be caused by multiple factors. Four of them are; induced miscarriage, misarriage due to problems with the mothers health, miscarriage due to problems with the fetus, and miscarriage do to specific disease. Induced miscarriage can be brought about by hormonal dosage such as the morning after pill, alergens, poisons, and some forms of trauma. The mother can have problems with her body which can present many different ways. She may have a miscarriage one time and then not the next and so on. The growth of the fetus is a very interesting and complicated process. The human gnome structure does not have the complete information to build the human body. What it does have is enough information to build a self replicating computer, the brain. The brain uses the blueprint it got from the gnome structure to build the framework of the body and then fills in the detail on its own. Look closely at identical twins. You will see many small differences. If any things goes wrong in the process, the brain or the body organs will shut down and miscarriage occures. There are other things that can happen in the fetus to cause miscarriage, too numerous to mention here. The specific disease I want to mention is or are STDs. The first sign, in some cases, of a STD infection is miscarriage. These are reasons a woman who has had a miscarriage should see a health care provider for the sake of her own and future children's health. Dwight

There are heaps of people who want to help both you and your baby. There may be solutions to this situation that you can't see right at this moment. Please seek out a counseling service or a church you feel comfortable with. All keep strictly confidential the information given to them. No-one else will know you contacted them. There is always a solution good for both of you. Don't risk your own life. This situation, no matter how bad it seems is not as bad as losing your life by trying to abort the baby, or the emotional and physical problems that may follow.

It may not be. That was my only symptom and I was having a miscarriage. It can be a very small amount and still be a sign of miscarriage. You should tell your doctor so they can check on the status of the pregnancy.

Hi there, i'd definitely go to your GP or phone the hospital or midwife, they'll need to take a scan to see whats wrong, it could be a miscarriage or it could just be bleeding for no other reason. I had heavy bleeding at around 10 weeks and thought the worst so when i got an appointment at the hospital the following day to get an ultrasound you could imagine my amazement to see the baby there with a heartbeat, i was so relieved. I was told after my scan it was a clot and posed no serious threat and would probably disappear on its own. So good luck and get yourself down to that hospital or GP!!!

I have had spotting with all three of my pregnancies and the doctor always told me that if the spotting is bright red you need to call your doctor and be checked out. It may be fine but often they prescribe bedrest until it stops or do some testing to make sure the baby is still thriving. A call to your doctor would be wise and give you some peace of mind.

A person's medical history is protected by federal and state laws, and anyone trying to bypass such laws will find themselves in very serious trouble. It is indeed odd that someone would be concerned with another person's very private issues. Making accusations and prying into someone else's personal affairs often ends up in civil litigation, so such things are better left alone.

If you are really a friend, you wouldn't push the issue, being somebody who recently miscarried, it did a lot of emotional damage, just be a friend and give them the benefit of the doubt. i don't know where I would be without my support system. but if you do find out she wasn't truthful... maybe suggest she get the help and attention she needs, because that is a horrible thing to lie about.

You will bleed from the miscarriage for about a week and some ovulate right away after and some takes longer. if it was a fairly early miscarriage you should have your period back within 2 months.

However, regular checkups and pap smears are recommend if you are serious in starting a family. I have read that the average couple tries to get pregnant for about a year before being successful. Anorexia and other eating disorders or health disorders that affect nutrition are extremely damaging to a developing foetus, and can cause serious problems. When the mother's body is deprived of nutrition (no matter how many "vitamins" they take, anorexics are universally nutrition deficient), the foetus is as well.

However... the body is designed to protect a baby at all costs. This is why populations experiencing famine continue to have high birth rates. The mother's body burns up all its resources, however limited they may be, to sustain the life of the foetus.

Being anorexic, in and of itself, will probably not cause you to miscarry, but it could be doing SERIOUS harm to the baby. Developmental and physical problems are very real possibilities for a malnourished baby, as well as pre-term labour and subsequent premature delivery, which also carry risks to the child for dev. problems and physical ailments. It also poses an increased risk to an already extremely unhealthy mother, if she is anorexic.

From conception, it would be 2-3 weeks... from LMP, it would be 4-6 weeks

i have no idea the same thing just happened to me as well.... Yeah I don't know either but I know I am going through the same thing. The last two months no clotting and now I have to go to the bathroom it seems at least every hour. I did take a test and it came out negative so if I figure out what is wrong with me I will let you know

Bleeding is never considered "normal" although it does happen to a lot of women. You need to call your obgyn immediately. They will send you for bloodwork to check your hcg levels and an ultrasound to see what's going on inside your cervix and uterus. Cramping is normal but not when accompanied with bleeding.

Yes, you should see your doctor. The lining of your uterus will probably need to be cleaned by a surgeon. You could get infection and even blood poisoning if you do not seek medical attention.

normally u should bleed right after miscarriage, but in some cases, the baby dies inside n it needs time to come out, so if that is the case the woman should feel some cramps or a strong back pain, the woman should contact a doctor straight away to c what's happenin , she can get some medicines like misoprostole to get rid of the ramaing stuff.

Not sure exactly how long it lasts I would think about a week or two if you think that you are miscarrying get to your doctor immediately they may have to do a D&C dilate and cutterage which is where they scrape any of the remaining pregnancy out of your uterus so that your body will heal and be OK in the future if you are worried about anything talk to your doctor they will be able to answer your questions better than anyone on the internet since your doctor knows your medical history and is there to see how your body is reacting to the trauma it is going through hope everything turns out OK for you Good Luck and God Bless!!!

Yes, depending on the infection, and the severity of it. It has been known for some STD's to cause miscarriages, or pelvic inflamatory disease. Even though it's rare it has also been known for a woman's own immune system to attack the pregnancy thinking it was an intruder. So see your doctor, and be completely honest about your sexual past and pregnancy past, he isn't there to judge but to help you have a safe and healthy pregnancy. And believe me just because you have had 2 miscarriages and you wonder if you will ever get to hold that baby in your arms, you will.....
