Im 16 years old and had a miscarriage at 10 weeks pregnant i was not scanned after the miscarriage and 4 days later i took a test that said i were pregnant does this mean im stil preg?

probably not, what it means is that your hormone levels are still high enough to register on a home pregnancy test, most like due to how far into your pregnancy you were at miscarriage... however! you really need to see your doctor immediately.. it is also possible that your placenta abrupted & you are still pregnant..

Can a blood test say ur still pregnant after you've just found out your miscarrying I went to the DR to check on my baby cause i was bleeding the blood test said i was still i miscarried that day?

Hcg or the pregnancy hormone stays in your system anywhere from 24 hours to a month after a miscarriage depending on how far along you were and reason for the miscarriage. This can cause false positives on home pregnancy tests and on blood tests.Your Dr should have a made a follow up appointment for you in the next few days to few weeks.

What are the true signs of a misscarrage in around 4-12 weeks of pregnancy I passed a blood clot almost the size of the palm of my hand and think that I misscarried. can anyone varify this at all?

I just had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I did not feel different then being pregnant, but I started spotting on Wednesday and by Thursday morning I was bleeding like my period. Doctor says it was a chemical pregnancy, which is just a term for a miscarriage before 7 weeks.

Does a positive pregnancy test 2 weeks after a miscarriage mean a new pregnancy or just pregnancy hormones retained from last time?

Most likely the hormones haven't settled. You should wait 3 weeks until you have sex after a miscarriage though so if you had you could be pregnant again.

What is the success rate of pregnancy with an incompetent uterus?

The success rate can be quite good if you have proper care, a good doctor/specialist & you follow instructions.

I had 5 early misccarriages then saw a parinatologist for my 6th child at 17.5 weeks my water broke & there was nothing that could be done to save my son....he was delivered stillborn. I saw a parinatologist again for the next baby & armed with the info from the last pregnancy they were able to declare that I did indeed have an incompetent cervix. Now this meant VERY close monitoring & my choice to wear a pessary (kinda looks like a diaphragm but has to be inserted & taken out by a dr only, once a week to be cleaned!) or be very pro-active & have a cerclage surgery just after I passed the 12 week mark (normal miscarriage date).

I opted for the cerclage, it was an outpatient surgery that took about 1/2 an hour, they literally sew your cervix shut. I was told to take it easy for about a week and then could return to normal activities however with incompetent cervix you are usually placed on "restriction" from week 8 - 14, during which time you may not have sex what-so-ever! I also had to go for weekly internal ultrasounds after my cerclage was placed to measure the length of my cervix, it began to get shorter & shorter so they placed a pessary anyway to see if that would help, at 19 weeks I went into labor, my cervix started dilating (which is seriously dangerous as it will rip to shreads with the ceclage in it). I was admitted to L & D, put on magnesium sulfate & other anti-labor drugs, I was hydrated, and told I would be having emergency surgery as soon as they could get the contractions to stop, to place a second cerclage becaue the first one was slipping out! 12 hours later I underwent the surgery, then was placed in the AntePartum area of the hospital and was told I would stay there on bed rest till I delivered. I was put on anti-labor drugs for the remainder of my pregnancy, I was only allowed out of bed every other day to take a shower, and once a day to sit in a chair for no more than 20 minutes. I was monitored every day, the baby's heart rate was monitored every day, I received utrasounds every other day....after 3 weeks of this I begged to go home, I was getting too depressed being locked up in a hospital room. I was allowed to go home but was to remain on the same VERY strict schedule.....in bed all day every day unless I was going to the dr's office, or to have an ultrasound or be monitored.

Cerclages have to be taken out before you go into labor naturally so mine was schedueled to come out at 36 weeks. It was removed & there surprisingly was no gush of labor. A week went by, still no baby, self-induction was not even working (I'm a Doula & am trained in it)....at 37 weeks I was told there was barely any water left in my placenta, and the baby was in danger of dying from a prolapsed cord, so now after all these weeks of struggling to keep him in, he wouldn't come out. I was rushed to the hospital and labor induction drugs were started.....They had to eventually be stopped because they were not working & were distressing my son. A resident manually got in there and pryed my cervix apart to a point, after that I dilated within an hour and my son was born 19 hours after entering the hospital. An exam was then done of my cervix & I was immediately rushed out of the room for emergency surgery on my cervix.....it turns out the doctor that removed the cerclages, missed a stitch & it was still holding me together.....thus the resident's prying & my son's head tore my cervix to shreds & it required 3 & a half hours of reconstructive surgery by a vaginal plastic surgeon to put it back together. He said it was the worst mess he's ever seen.

So if you are diagnosed incompetent.....decide VERY carefully on your treatment, weigh all the pros & cons, and make sure you have a VERY competent doctor!

What if you are pregnant and craving the things that cause miscarriage?

At the risk of loosing your baby I would say DON'T eat them. Go and talk to your doctor if they are uncontrollable.

What if you have no symptoms of pregnancy but high hCG levels?

How do you know your HCG levels are high?

It is not unusual to be pregnant and not have any symptoms. If you have a positive home pregnancy test you should assume you are pregnant and see a doctor.

HCG is most commonly associated with pregnancy, but could indicate other health issues if it is elevated outside of pregnancy.

Is watery discharge tinged with blood a miscarriage?

After having a miscarriage are the chances of getting pregnant greater?

I have miscarried and from what I was told, once you have been pregnant it is always easier to get pregnant. Although I don't believe this to be true because my husband and I have been ttc for a few months now and no luck. We don't smoke or drink or anything, we eat healthy and exercise and we are only in our early twenties. So I don't believe that miscarrying ups your chances for becoming pregnant, although my doctor says it does.

Could i have been pregnant and had a miscarriage if the last period i had was heavy and very painful the first two days but i never have cramps any other time i have a period?

Yes. Many women have a miscarriage before they even know they are pregnant. Some Dr. believe that about 25% of pregnancy end in a miscarriage.

How long after a miscarriage will HCG stay in your system?

It depends on how high your hCG levels were. HCG levels drop at the same rate they climb: i.e. they halve every 2-3 days.

I was told 2-3 weeks. It could be more but I doubt it.

I've heard that it can take up to six weeks.

I was told that it all depends on how far along you are when you miscarry. The more advanced the pregnancy, the longer HGC will stay in your system.

I misscarried at 5 weeks and I am still showing a positive result on tests and should now be 13 weeks. HCG results can be deciving with urine, it is the most sensitive way to test. If in doubt ask for a blood test!

Have I lost my baby I am bleeding had one blood clot and I feel sick?

At this stage probably not, however it may be a good idea to see a doctor with your problem as these sort of symptoms may lead to some thing serious.

5wks and had a miscarriage do you need to go to see a doctor?

Yes, you should probably see your doctor so she can make sure the miscarriage is complete.

Did you miscarry if you had signs of pregnancy then one day they stopped and your next period was heavy and you passed small clots?

I had an early miscarriage (I was trying to get pregnant, and took the 5 days before your missed period test and it was positive) and miscarried 3 weeks later. My doctor said like 50% of women have an early miscarriage, they don't even know they are pregnant until they have a heavy clotty period the next month. So yes, you could have. I am sorry. But it could just be a more heavier period, (stress can cause that)

How do you have a naturally induced miscarriage?

Answer

You dont. You go and see your doctor and if the baby is over a certain stage in growth, you allow the birth to happen then if you dont want it look at the alternatives then. If the pregnancy is going to cause you terminal illness, see your doctor and work out a solution.

ANSWER

Please don't take this to offense, but it is ILLEGAL to knowingly cause a miscarriage.

If there had been light bleeding and then a horrible pain that hurt so much you couldn't stand and blood clots Does that mean you had a miscarriage?

No.

If you feel the need, go to your local doctor and have them do a pelvic exam. Severe cramps with blood clots may indicate many things, including a miscarriage. The cramps could also just be cramps.
