1. Remove the interior weatherstrips around the doors. These just pull straight down.

2. Remove the sunvisors and disconnect the power cord for the lights.

3. Remove the interior light -- this just pulls straight out with no screws.

4. Remove the rear seat bottom -- pull the little rings at the front bottom of the seat and lift the front of the seat up and out.

5. Remove the panels to the sides of the rear seat that cover the rear speakers.

6. Remove the rear headliner trim -- this is a plastic panel between the headliner and the hatch lid. Pull this straight back toward the rear of the car and be careful -- you will likely break the inside plastic anyway and this part isn't available anywhere. You might have to reattach this with screws or something after you're done.

7. Look for little plastic plugs on tabs at the edge of the headliner. Use a tool to remove these (a door panel puller with a forked end works great on this, but you could probably use a screwdriver).

8. Remove the headliner through the hatch opening.

just undo the four bolts holding it in, they are accessed at the axle end of the hub.

Popular question. It's hidden unlike any other car. Outlet is behind driver side brake lines 1/2 way up in a frame weldment bracket hole. Impossible to get to. My dealer drilled a hole, inside driverside airdistribution housing (remove panel next to your accelerator leg) and blew air in it. Lasted 5 min. and plugged again. I found lowest point in righthand corner of housing. You can see molded round shape in housing that leads into firewall. Used hole drilled in line towards back of housing and ran a stiff wire down molded round shape. It went past firewall, massive amount of water came out. Sill working.

In my case the ABS Control Module is out. Its over $1000 to replace this module at the dealer so I just left it. Brakes work fine, you just don't have anti-lock braking.

I drilled out the bolts that held it in place because they were thoroughly rusted in place. Once that was done the rotors came off easily.

Plugging of the drain certainly appears to be a chronic problem with at least 2004 and 2005 Endeavors. Allowing the water to build up by running the AC will eventually lead to water flowing into the blower and burning out the blower motor (~$500 fix). There is a technical bulletin on this problem (Equipment: Electrical: Air Conditioner; Bul. No. 07012004; issued July 2004; Summary: Clearing A/C Drain Passage (NHTSA Item No. 100014174). It is obvious that there is a design flaw which allows the buildup of debris inside the engine compartment (I have found plastic bags under the hood, for example). In fact, another tech bulletin exists: Visibility: Defroster/Defogger System: Windshield: Blower; Bulletin No: 0355008; Oct 2003; Debris (such as leaves, etc) entering the front cowl area may clog the evaporator housing drain tube. If this occurs, the evaporator housing may fill up with condensation and overflow into the passenger compartment, and into the blower motor (NHTSA Item No. 10004454).

It is under a narrow panel in the cargo deck just behind the rear seat back . I had to go to the dealer for them to show me. you just lift it up.

sounds like it is running lean on bank 2 and you probably have a bad upstream oxygen sensor. If you look under the hood right in front you will see the exhaust pipe. There will be two what look like spark plugs with wires coming from them, that's them. the top one is upstream.

Dealer wanted $930.00 Local mechanic wanted $480.00. Quite the difference. Not sure what the dealer is doing to it that would make it cost so much.

There are two sets of fuses, like in most cars. The ones inside the vehicle are, as you open the driver side door, on the left of the steering wheel nearest the door. It's like a small compartment where the top comes off to reveal the fuse box area and it has a slight opening where you can pull with your fingers to open it.
