Where is the VIN number located on a 2004 Yamaha PW80 dirt bike?
The vin Number for a Yamaha PW80 can be located in 2 places.
1) At the side of the frame where the forks clamp into the yokes. (Turn the handle bars to the right & then look at the frame between the petrol tank & the forks on the left). 2) On the left hand side of the engine. BOTH OF THESE NUMBERS SHOULD BE VERY CLEARLY VISIBLE & BOTH NUMBERS SHOULD BE EXACTLY THE SAME! If they aren't, the bike may have had another engine fitted or if not clearly visible may have been stolen.
Is a two stroke better than a four stroke?
I like The four stroke because of the torque. but the two stroke is a bit quicker on the jump, the both fast but the four strokes and take you more place's. The two strokes are very jumpy so they like two slide out goin up hills
Will raptor 700 motor fit raptor 660 frame?
Yes it will i had a gytr 660r and put a raptor 700 motor on it
Go to the link I just posted in "links" and do exactly as it says, except on my 1995 KTM 620 I kick through about 8-10 kicks with decom lever pulled in, then find tdc (see the link) then give it a BIG kick. If you've got an edelbrock carburetor, I hear those are VERY tough to get to run well. For more info, go to ktmtalk.com and advrider.com. Here's a link to advrider.com KTM 640/lc4 threads - lots of good 620 info here. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86958. Good Luck!

Maybe the pilot jet is clogged or you need to change pilot jet size. It sounds like it may be a fuel/ air delivery problem. Air filter clean? Filter over oiled and causing rich? Another thing though, don't overlook the electrical side. It may run great once started but I would check the spark while trying to kick it over. You may have a coil getting weak.
How does a dirt bike engine work?
When you start kicking the kickstart the engine is turning over going through its strokes whether a 4 stroke or a 2 stroke, A 4 stroke has 4 Strokes (hence the name) they are, 1.Intake, 2. Compression, 3. Combustion, 4.Exhaust. 2 Strokes work in a similar way just less strokes. When you kick the kick starter it makes a spark out of the spark plug, the piston move up in down also. When the piston moves up and down it lets fuel by. And when the fuel goes by the spark and the fuel does not get along and it creates fire. Now when you put the bike in first gear you are pulling in the clutch witch separates the engine from the transmission letting you sit still, as you let out the clutch the engine and transmmission slowly make a connection making the bike move forward, the process is basicly the same when riding but you dont have to let out the clutch slowly. Hope this info helps.
What oil do you use for a wet clutch 2003 RM 125?
A RM is a 2stroke and needs a specific gear/manual transmission oil and should be close to 70weight. 10/40 will smoke your clutch and gears as it will break down too quick.
How old do you have to be to ride a 110cc dirt bike in the bike lane in AZ?
Bicycle lanes are not intended for motorised vehicles, so it doesn't matter how old or young you are - it's still illegal.
The only exception is vehicles with very weak/small engines, like some bikes with "assist" engines and maybe some scooters/mopeds. But a dirt bike is too powerful to fit into that category.
How fast does a raptor 250 go with the baffle removed?
Removing the baffle will get you a couple more horsepower, but the gearing is what determines the top speed.
Why does my 08 ktm 105 make clinking noises when riding in low RPM's -gear box maybe?
In answering this I would like to ask a question. Has it always made this "clinking" moise or did it just recently start. Most likely if it was something loose in the gear box you wouldn't be able to shift through the gears. Since you didn't say anything about that I'm assuming it does shift ok. First I would drain the gear oil (starting the bike up and warming the oil up before draining) and look for metal shavings in the oil. If it does not expel any metal with the oil, I would add oil back into the gear box, start it up and ride it long enough to warm it up and take note of the noise. Note the following: 1) estimate what rpm range the noise is occuring 2) note if the noise goes away at mid-full throttle 3) Does it shift into all gears 4) is it shifting smooth or does it shift notchy and try to hang up while shifting My 525 makes a little bit of a chatter when it has been lugged down and you roll the throttle on, this is normal for the 525. Not sure about the 105's though. If it persist's I would run it by your KTM dealer and have them check it out. Tell them you changed oil and if you found any metal shavings when changing it and also tell them the responses on the 4 questions above. This will give them some info on their diagnosis.
How do you install a basic rpm gauge to a mini bike motor its a 6.5 gx 200cc Honda clone engine?
Get an RPM meter (tachometer) for 1 cylinder 4 stroke engine to match with your engine.
Connect ground wire from RPM to body, usually black colored wire.
Connect power wire to ignition switch, make sure it is connected to 'ON' position of switch, this wire usually with yellow insulation.
Connect green wire to coil negative terminal, this terminal is connected to contact point or ignition trigger system, the wire from tachometer is usually with green insulation.
Start your engine and check RPM reading.
