Muscat is the capital of Oman. So a person from there is refered to as an Omani.

Here in Muscat, English speakers follow the Arabic lead and refer to a man from Muscat as a "Muscati". In Arabic, a woman would be a "Muscatiyya", but in English, "Muscati" works for both.

"Shukran" is the most common way of saying thank you, be it in the classic Arabic language or in the colloquial Arabic. It is said the same way to both; male and female. You can also add "Jazeelan" after "Shukran" to be more polite, but it has more of a classic Arabic flavour.
