Yes, you can download almost anything as a free ringtone. There are even online services where you can input your own song (as long as you have rights to it) to turn it into a ringtone and send it to your phone.
They expire after 2 years if not redeemed. If you have already put the code in, you can take as long as you want to spend your money!

I had the same problem and it took me several hours to fix it but it is working now.
I had to call 1-800-694-7466 (This is Apple Customer Service). They will ask you for your name, product serial number among personal questions pertaining your account. They will make you go to the following link (appleid.apple.com) without the (www). and change your password. The problem to this is that this will not fix your problem unless they transfer you to Itunes Customer Representatives to enable your apple id. They are the only ones that can enable it. You must tell them to contact Itunes because they have a direct line to them and they will not give you a number to call. Itunes will then activate your account and you will have to change your password again using the apple id link mentioned before. if you follow this steps you will not have a problem.
NOTE: do not let them hang up the phone. ensure that they stay on the phone with you until you actually are able to verify that the apple id is activated. remember just because you can get in to your account does not mean that your account is enabled.
Yes, only if you download the "Sony Ericsson PC Suite". You can download that. After you download that have iTunes pulled up. On the PC Suite, click ont the folders and then click onto the music folder and drag and drop music from itunes. If you're going to have music, I would suggest you get a memory card for it. But when you drag and drop it immediatly downloads to your phone.
The Question was a sony walkman, not a sony ericsson phone, as I have just purchased a sony walkman as the sony walkman is non-DRM only, which does not allow copying of protected stuff, anyway the itunes site has 8 million of its 10 million songs in drm free,
so it sould not be a problem now, if you find that the downloaded song to be protected I believe there is software you can download to convert them to mp3, then transfer the files onto your device. you need windows media player 11 installed.
Go to Google and download handbrake free. After you have downloaded it to your computer insert you DVD and open handbrake. Then a box should come up asking for the DVD you want to import, choose you DVD and download it. Then it should say it cannot find vlc, so click the get vlc button. Once the page comes up choose the most recent vlc to download and download it. Once you have done that, go back on to handbrake and click source at the top right. It should begin downloading the movie. After it has downloaded click start. after that open itunes and and go to the top of the itunes page and click file and add to library. once the movie is added just put it into the playlist of your choosing and download it to your iPod. Then.....ENJOY!
You can't. Apple has their products and things so locked up that Itunes is the only way to sync songs on it, unless you find another program on the internet that allows you to do so. Try searching through Google for one. Hope it helped!
If you mean when you are on your iPod, a reason why it is not able to connect is that you have no wifi connection. You need to be near a wireless router to access any internet programs. To turn on your wi-fi : Settings< Wi-fi < ON< Choose a Network.
The technology is legal; the uses to which it is put may or may not be.
For example, it's perfectly legal to use BitTorrent to upload or download the latest version of Debian, since Debian's license allows (in fact, practically demands) it to be freely distributed.
It's not legal to use BitTorrent to upload or download files without the permission of the copyright holder, though.
You can't download from something you don't have. You can download iTunes for free at the link in related links.
You can also download music, music videos, tv shows and other stuff on websites like amazon.com

I think you should know the differences between iTunes and Apple Music.
iTunes is an one stop digital media store which is more than just a media player. You can purchase DRM-free songs from iTunes store. You should separately purchase the song you want.
Apple Music is a music streaming service using a monthly subscription model and it provides you access to songs instead of owning them. You should pay $9.99 a month.
In a word, if you want to own a song forever, choose to buy music from iTunes. But when the number is large, you need to costs a lot of money. Certainly, you can subscribe to Apple Music and you will get access to its vast music library and it has time limits, But you don't need to worry, you can install one TunePat Apple Music Converter to save songs in MP3 onto your computer before canceling your subscription.
make sure the album and artist is spelled correctly, sometimes it depends on the song too, but not usually
right click on the song and click download album cover
if you previously tried to download the album cover with incorrect spelling several times then this may cause itunes to no longer recognize the file
if you still cant get it to work then just find the album cover online, download it then just edit the song file and set the album picture as the album cover
It depends largely on what you download and where you download it from. Free music on official and major websites like itunes are fine. If it's just a song that someone off the street composed and posted in their blog, then it would be perfectly fine to download it as well, but for copyrighted music, it is usually illegal unless the copyright owner is giving out free samples or something similar. If you have any doubts, than it's probably best not to download.
"Flash" doesn't refer to the MP3 music file itself, but rather the storage medium used by the MP3 player. A flash player has no moving parts, as opposed to a hard-drive player (like the iPod Classic or iRiver H300 series) that uses a spinning drive like a computer.
Flash memory is the type of memory used for memory cards in cameras, cell phones, etc.
When buying an MP3 player, many people consider how they will use the player and what features are more important to them. Hard-drive players offer more storage for the price, but are larger, while flash players are more resistant to dropping and vibration and can be quite small (the Sansa Clip, for example). If you plan on listening to your music at the gym or while jogging, for example, you should buy a flash player.
Note: Many manufacturers are moving away from MP3 players with moving parts. It is speculated that soon all MP3 players will have flash memory.
Open iTunes on your computer and click on iTunes store
You can put songs on your ipod with other programs that are 100% free.
Examples: Imesh, Bearshare, and Mediamonkey.
Note: Imesh Bearshare and mediamonkey are peer to peer sharing sites who's users mainly deal in stolen music and copyright theft.
