Does psychic ability have anything to do with genetics?

The answer to this question has never been thoroughly researched, so nobody knows for sure if psychic ability is hereditary, or not.

What we know of this phenomenon is mostly based on anecdotal evidence (i.e. people's personal experiences). Many psychics report having psychic family members, especially parents and grandparents. You often also find psychic ability to be shared by identical twins, like Terry and Linda Jamison, and Chinhee and Sunhee Park. But there are also people who believe that we are all born psychic and that psychic ability is a skill that can be developed by anyone.

Many psychic phenomena are experienced while a person is sleeping, or in an altered state of consciousness, such as a trance, under hypnosis or in the dream state. This may be an indication that each of us, in our subconscious, has the basic ability to experience extra sensory perception (ESP). Many of us also have spontaneous psychic experiences as children, but we are often conditioned not to pay attention to these experiences. Sometimes children are even punished or reprimanded for allowing their "imagination to run wild".

Nearly everyone has at one time or another experienced some form of extra sensory perception (ESP). People may hear a voice whisper their name, or see a glimpse of a human shape out of the corner of their eye, or sense who is calling when the phone rings, or meet someone and immediately know they will marry that person, etc. Many widows report having a close encounter with their deceased husband shortly after his death. According to Dr. Diane Hennacy Powell surveys across several nations suggest that around a fifth of the general population report having clairvoyant experiences.

But the fact that some people know from their childhood that they are born psychic, and know of other family members and ancestors who also had psychic abilities, implies that there is very likely also a genetic link. In my personal experience there is definitely a hereditary component to being psychic, because I inherited by psychic abilities from my paternal grandmother. I believe that some people are born exceptionally gifted and don't know it, or they supress it when they discover it.

While many psychics become aware of their abilities in their childhood, some people develop their psychic ability later in life due to significant life events. People who have had a near-death-experience (NDE) often report an increase in their psychic ability after the event. For others their psychic abilities surface during or after times of severe physical or emotional trauma, such as intense stress, serious illness, major accidents, or exposure to extreme physical danger. There are also known cases of psychics whose paranormal abilities surfaced or intensified due to brain injury. For example, the famous psychic medium Edgar Cayce, also known as 'The Sleeping Prophet,' fell off a fence post on his parents farm around age three, and he hit his head on a piece of wood with a nail protruding from it. It punctured his skull and caused injury to his brain, but there were no serious consequences.

I believe psychic ability is a combination of both natureand nurture, as is the case with any other talents or genetic predispositions we may be born with. What this means is that psychics are born with a latent hereditary or genetic capacity for being psychic, but their ability is further developed by their upbringing, their childhood environment, education and life experiences. In my case, however there was very little 'nurture,' because I grew up in a very conservative society and my psychic abilities were never encouraged by my parents or my community. In fact, I got into serious trouble for it in school when I was in my early teens. I eventually believed that my psychic ability was something to be ashamed of and I suppressed it for many years throughout my youth and early adult years. I did however have a near-death experience in my late 20's. I also experienced several other major life events that may have contributed to the emergence of my psychic ability, but none of these experiences caused or created my psychic ability. I was aware of my psychic ability from a very young age. I have also never attended any psychic development courses or mediumship circles.

It is my view we are all born with varying degrees of intuitive ability, the same way we are all born with an aptitude for playing music, creating art or participating in sports. We can all learn to develop our innate intuitive abilities, it does not necessarily mean we will all excel at it. Most of us can learn to play the piano, or draw pictures or play basketball and soccer. Some of us will even learn to do these things extremely well, but not all of us have the talent that can be nurtured for us to become the next Ludwig van Beethoven, Pablo Picasso, Michael Jordan or David Beckham.

Is Meredith Lane a true psychic?

I got a solicitation from Meredith Lane with Translation Press at about the same time. Somehow, I ended up on some psychic mailing list and not only got that one but letters from two other women of similar description. The others are Madame Avalon with Astral Arts and Athena with Celestial Gifts.

Two of them, including Ms Lane, cited a number of specific dates on which various things would happen. To date, nothing they described has occurred on any of them.

All of them boast that they are angel skryers (commune with angels), refer to God, claim to be psychics, mention magic and offer, give assurance that they are better than their competitors, and for a fee of $25 to make me wealthy, give me endless good luck, success in romance, healed relationships, etc. This does beg the question that if they are capable of doing this for me, then why haven't they already enriched themselves, and thus why are they asking me for money?

I decided to put each of them to the test, to give them a chance to prove that they are what they claim rather than dishonest swindlers. I gave each a task, and a deadline of January 6, 2011 by which to accomplish it. None of produced anything.

Curiously, one thing Ms Lane told me was that I my own psychic gifts would reawaken and that no one would ever again be able to lie to me. Maybe she was right about that, at least.

Why can people talk and see ghosts?

Answer

When we are born, we are able to see spirits like our guardian angels.

If you're lucky, you might remember something from your birth. When I was just born, all I remember was a painting of a sea but it turned into some kind of ship wreck and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a television I was looking at. People told us there was no such thing as ghosts, so yes most of us become spiritually blind and once you are blind you can't go back. Because of that, we rely on faith just like normal blind people but one day that yes is the day of our death we will be able to see once again and follow our guardian angel as we once did to get here. There are people who do see the dead and it is a gift that many have but refused to believe. Luckily the people who can see have stronger faith in it so they will continue to.

Answer

It is also a matter of opinion. The answer above is taking the side that Yes, ghosts are real. However, you mainly just see "ghost whisperers" on television. And television is not always real, and in situations similar to ghosts, mostly not true.

Is the show Paranormal Witness fake?

It is real. The producer Mark Lewis and his team of investigators, dig really hard to find these stories to reproduce in the Paranormal Witness show. They bring peoples real stories of the paranormal, unexplainable, and the frightening to life on the small screen. They go through news papers, paranormal groups, police reports, etc, and then get a hold of the witnesses to strange experiences. After they convince those witnesses to come onto the show, they then do background checks, interview them, make sure the story match's that of any other witnesses, or previous recorded reports, while trying to detect lies. They do a very thorough job.

How do I stop the voices in my head?

You can't really STOP it, but a way to get rid of it for a while is just to occupy yourself and just try not to think about it, because the voices are in your head because you're THINKING about them, right? Just do something and you'll eventually forget them.

If the voices are actually talking to you, you should probably see a therapist.

How can you become a paranormal investigator?

Discovering your abilities by yourself can take years. I first started to become interested in paranormal stuff when I was 14..I am now 18 and still learning. It involves patience, time and optimism, not to mention confidence. A quicker way of finding how sensitive to spirits you are would be to join a spiritualist church, visit a medium, or join a paranormal group. It is unlikely you will become famous, but you could try.Really, all it involves is thinking outside the box, having time confidence and patience.

What does it mean when you see somebody's spirit but there not dead?

Apparitions are classically categorized in four groups, Experimental, Crisis, Post-Mortem and Haunting.

The Experiemental and Crisis apparitions are apparitions of living persons. They are produced either intentionally or spontaneously and seem to involve altered states of concsciousness often called 'out of body' experiences. In both cases, the person producing the apparition directly targets a living individual to whom they will appear, usually as themselves.

It is a common myth that only apparitions of the dead exist. In fact, it is more likely that most apparitions have their origins in living apparitional agents.

What are the most haunted places in the United States of America?

Many vintage homeowners and tourist attractions like to claim that they’re haunted, but that can be tough to prove. What are the truly scariest haunted places in the United States? Here is our Answer, counting down to #1.

  1. The Shanghai Tunnels, Portland, Oregon.
    • Portland was one of the most dangerous ports in the United States during the early 19th century and was the epicenter of an illicit maritime practice known as shanghaiing, which is a form of human trafficking. According to local legend, swindlers preyed upon unsuspecting men in the local saloons, which were often outfitted with trap doors that allowed for a quick escape into a network of underground tunnels. These men were then supposedly held captive, drugged, and eventually transported to the waterfront, where they were sold to ships as unpaid laborers. The tunnels are said to be haunted by the angry spirits of the captive men who died in the dark recesses beneath the city. The practice of kidnapping men to work on ships came to be known as shanghaiing because the ships they were sold to were often headed to East Asia.. Tours in Portland can take visitors down into these spooky subterranean tunnels.
  2. Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast, Fall River, Massachusetts.
    • On August 4th, 1892, the bodies of Andrew and Abby Borden were discovered bludgeoned beyond recognition in their home. The main suspect was none other than the youngest of their three daughters, Lizzie. The Borden case was one of America’s first major crimes to occur under the media spotlight, capturing the attention of the entire nation. Despite allegations that Lizzie had financial motives for the murder and growing public scrutiny, she was ultimately acquitted due to a lack of physical evidence. The Borden home has since been converted into a museum and bed-and-breakfast, where guests can see gruesome photos of the crime scene and sleep in one of its advertised haunted rooms.
  3. Grove Park Inn, Asheville, North Carolina.
    • After making a fortune selling his Grove’s Tasteless Chill Tonic to prevent malaria, Edwin Wiley Grove opened this premiere hotel in North Carolina in 1913 to capitalize on the tourist popularity of the town of Asheville. The famous ghostly resident of the inn is The Pink Lady. She is described as being the kind spirit of a young woman who fell to her death from a fifth floor balcony in 1920. She will sometimes appear in a pink ball gown, but most often as a pink mist. The Grove Park Inn is still open to this day, accepting reservations year-round.
  4. The White House, Washington, D.C.
    • Obviously this building is famous for housing the most powerful official in the United States, but the White House also has its share of haunting stories. Many presidents, visiting ambassadors, and former staff have described unexplainable sounds and phenomena. World leaders that got spooked during their tenure include Abraham Lincoln, Harry Truman, and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. In fact, it was apparently President Lincoln who appeared before Churchill when he was getting out of a hot bath. The British Bulldog reportedly told the apparition “Good evening, Mr. President. You seem to have me at a disadvantage.”
  5. Proctor’s Ledge, Salem, Massachusetts.
    • Not immediately recognizable except perhaps by name, Proctor’s Ledge was confirmed to be the actual sight of the executions in the Salem Witch Trials of the late 17th century. Over the years, many accounts of paranormal activity have been documented near Proctor’s Ledge, and in 2017, the site was dedicated as a memorial to the victims on the 325th anniversary of the hangings.
  6. The Iroquois Theater, Chicago, Illinois.
    • The location of the deadly Iroquois Theatre fire is infamous. Occuring on December 30th, 1903, just five weeks after the grand opening, the event was the deadliest fire in a theater and the deadliest single-building fire in U.S. history, resulting in over 600 deaths. Once the shock and grief of the enormous loss of life wore off, the public was outraged at the obviously false advertising of the theatre’s promotion as “absolutely fireproof”. After numerous regulation failures by management, ultimately nobody was held responsible for the disaster. The lasting impact was a complete overhaul of fire safety systems at theatres throughout Chicago. In 1926, the Oriental Theatre, which is now the modern-day James M. Nederlander Theatre, was built on the ruins of the Iroquois.
  7. Waverly Hills Sanatorium, Louisville, Kentucky.
    • Built in 1910 as a hospital to combat tuberculosis, the Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville was the setting for thousands of deaths - current guesses estimate the total deaths between 8,000 and 63,000. There wasn’t a cure for tuberculosis until streptomycin was invented in 1943, so for 33 years, getting sent to this site was almost certainly a death sentence. They even had a “body chute” that allowed the staff to dump dead bodies by nearby railroad tracks. Possibly the creepiest events were the two suicides that took place at the sanatorium. Taking place less than four years apart, two nurses both committed suicide - in the same room. Nowadays, the Waverly Hills Sanatorium is a popular tourist attraction for those looking for a good scare.
  8. Villisca Axe Murder House, Villisca, Iowa.
    • At first glance, this unassuming white house at the end of a quiet street doesn’t draw much attention. But the site of the infamous Villisca Axe Murders is one of the most gruesome murder scenes to catch the attention of the media. On a warm Summer night in 1912, a stranger broke into the house and viciously killed all six members of the Moore family, and the two Stillinger sisters, who had come over for a sleepover with the Moore kids. The mysterious murderer then apparently set up some sort of ritual after his victims were all dead. He covered the Moore parent’s heads with sheets, and the children’s faces with clothing. He then went through each room to cover all of the mirrors and windows with cloths and towels. And at some point, he took a 2 pound piece of uncooked bacon from the bridge and place it in the living room, along with a keychain. The killer also locked the front door with keys he stole from Mr. Moore, whose brother was the first to discover the bloodied scene. The house is now a tourist destination, offering both daylight tours as well as overnight stays.
  9. Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, Weston, West Virginia.
    • This foreboding asylum began construction in 1858 and opened to patients in 1864. The massive, dominating structure was designed by architect Richard Andrews to maximize sunlight and fresh air - he believed that the building could possibly serve as a healing environment. By the 1950s, the facility which was designed for 250 people housed 2,400 patients in horribly crowded conditions. Patients were even physically restrained and often given inhumane treatments, such as electroshock therapy and lobotomies. After more than a century in operation, the facility was forced to close in 1994 due to reforms in national mental health treatment, and the deterioration of the building. Hundreds of patients died during the asylum’s tenure, who many guests and ghost hunters have claimed to see roaming the halls in a spectral form. The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum is the largest hand-cut stone masonry building in all of North America, and claims to be the second largest in the world after the Kremlin in Moscow.
  10. The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado.
    • A single night in this hotel tucked away in Colorado’s mountain wilderness inspired Stephen King’s best-selling novel-turned-horror-film, The Shining. Massachusetts couple F.O. and Flora Stanley opened the isolated resort in 1909 - and supposedly never left. According to modern staff, Mr. Stanley occasionally pops up in photographs, and Mrs. Stanley can be heard playing her Steinway piano in the music room at night. There have also been reports of bags being unpacked, lights turning off and on, and the ghost of a little boy on the second floor. Paranormal experts refer to the Stanley Hotel as one of the most active ghost sites in the United States. To add to the ambiance, guest bedrooms have a TV channel that plays Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining on a 24-hour loop.
  11. R.M.S. Queen Mary, Long Beach, California.
    • This retired ocean liner sailed the Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967. During her first three years at sea, the Queen Mary carried Hollywood celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn, as well as dignitaries such as General Dwight Eisenhower. However, her early days as a cruise vessel were short lived, and in 1939 she was stripped of her luxury amenities and began her second life as the Grey Ghost, a troopship for the Allied Forces throughout the Second World War. Winston Churchill even signed the D-Day Declaration aboard the Queen Mary. After the war ended in 1945, she was restored to her former glory and cruised the Atlantic for over two more decades. On Halloween 1967, the Queen Mary departed on her last cruise, eventually docking in Long Beach, California, her final resting place. The ship is reportedly haunted by the spirits of those who died aboard, such as the young sailor who was crushed to death by a door in the engine room, and a crew member who was murdered in Cabin B340. Although the Queen Mary sails no more, scare fiends can still get a look at this haunted ship, as she serves as both a floating hotel and restaurant on the Pacific Coast.
  12. The LaLaurie Mansion, New Orleans, Louisiana.
    • Madame Delphine LaLaurie was an early 19th Century Louisiana socialite known for hosting fancy soirees in her ostentatious Creole mansion in the French Quarter. Her guests would delight in the fine food and champagne, especially if they were unaware of what was taking place just two floors above. When local police responded to a kitchen fire in 1834, they discovered the bodies of several horribly mutilated slaves in the attic. After the public learned of LaLaurie’s grotesque secret, a mob stormed the house, causing her to flee to France. Soon after LaLaurie left New Orleans, people claimed to hear the phantom screams of her victims coming from the house late at night. Although the LeLaurie residence is now privately owned and not offering tours, several French Quarter tours will take visitors past this haunted mansion.
  13. Eastern State Penitentiary, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
    • This menacing Gothic-style prison opened in 1829 and became the first in the U.S. to implement solitary confinement. Prisoners languished in the Penitentiary’s stone cells with nearly zero human contact, and they had hoods placed over their heads anytime they were moved. The so-called “Pennsylvania system” was replicated in several other states and in Europe. Al Capone was probably the most famous inmate at Eastern State Penitentiary, having served time in the institution from August 1929 to March 1930, but he had a much cushier arrangement than his fellow prisoners. When the facility closed in 1971, it was believed that the ghosts of the inmates took back the prison. Visitors claim to see their apparitions wandering the corridors and to hear mischievous whispers in abandoned cell blocks.
  14. The Winchester Mystery House, San Jose, California.
    • The heir to the Winchester Repeating Arms Company after her husband William passed away in 1881, Sarah Winchester inherited roughly $20 million dollars and asked for the advice of a medium on how to spend it in her grief. Legend says that her husband’s spirit was conjured by the medium, and that he told her to move from Connecticut to California and build a massive home for the spirits of those who had died to Winchester rifles, or else they would haunt her for the rest of her days. Bought in 1884 as a small, unfinished farmhouse, the house was quickly changed with constant expansions, eventually turning the home into a seven-story monstrosity. Many of the alterations proved pointless with hallways or staircases leading to absolutely nothing. The final product of the home had over 160 rooms and 10,000 panes of glass, and has gone down in history as one of the most famous haunted houses in the entire world.
  15. The Amityville House, Amityville, New York.
    • Quite possibly the most famous haunted house in the world, the site of the Amityville Horror murders in November of 1974 captured international attention. The eldest child of the DeFeo family, 23-year-old Ronald “Butch” DeFeo, Jr., murdered his entire family in cold blood with a .35 caliber rifle. His two parents and four younger siblings all fell victim to his violence, but the rumors surrounding the events attempt to add a more supernatural context. Not only are the spirits of the slain DeFeo family said to still occupy the house, but many people speculate that the house was already haunted, and that it corrupted Butch into killing his loved ones. The successor residents to the DeFeo family, the Lutzes, lasted in the house for a mere 28 days, but apparently approached DeFeo’s defense attorney William Weber, with the proposition of selling a ghost story that was really a hoax. But the two sons of George and Kathy Lutz have claimed to have run-ins with the paranormal in their short stay in the house.

Is there a such thing as paranormal?

Scientifically, no. Most paranormal experiences are from anecdotal evidence, which can be observed as one of the least accurate forms of reference.

Many paranormal experiences can be explained by certain nerve endings firing in your brain to create an image so real you think that you have really seen it. Pilots who are put in the G-force test thing (where you're spun around and around in a bubble-shaped pod) often blackout and report 'near death experiences' but science can tell us that this is simply a product of the brain, not a paranormal experience.

How can you make paranormal activity happen?

It's something that happens that a ghost is responsible for, like moving a pan or throwing an object, or some action caused by the paranormal. Human aid is not involved in this kind of activity at all. Usually the ghost, or spirit, is letting you know it's there or is responding to something you said to it, positive or negative. It's something that doesn't usually happen without human aid.

Is it possible to see future?

There isn't exactly a way! However, there are some people who have special abilities to see into the future, including visions and dreams.

Unfortunately, for the rest of us, seeing into the future isn't a possibility!

How can you be a psychic?

Opinions On Making Oneself Psychic:
  • There are certainly people with psychic abilities out there (the talented ones that were given this ability for good use only) but there are loads of crooks out there too. For example: If you meet someone at a party and want to fool them into believing you are psychic this is what you do: Look at the way they comb their hair, their skin, (you can tell if they are pampered or hard workers) are their finger nails super clean and manicured, or slightly dirty and are the palms of the hands calloused or smooth. By looking at the persons hands you can tell if they are an office worker or came from a privileged home and if the hands are rough with slightly jagged nails or a bit of dirt under the nails then they work hard with their hands (perhaps a mechanics or woodworker.) I've fooled people before by doing this by observing the person during the evening. I believe we all have psychic abilities but it is known we only use part of our brain and the brain has been the least studied organ of the body up until 15 years ago. There is much to learn about the brain because it's basically a circuit board to our body and without it we can't see, close our eyes, walk, talk, etc. If we were to study hard enough I do believe we are capable of becoming somewhat psychic. Think of this one. Often "instincts" or "gut feelings" are sluffed off as simply that, but in reality that's psychic ability. A mother may suddenly know something is terribly wrong with her child, while others around her will disagree with her. The mother is usually 99% right. We meet someone and we either really like them or a red light goes off and we suddenly just don't like them and are wary of turning our back on this person. Even walking down streets we may, without realizing decide one street makes the hair stand up on the back of our necks and we'll detour. The changes in our mind are so slight that we hardly notice half the time. Yoga or any type of meditating is good for a person as well as a belief system. Every living thing has an aura around it. I've studied auras and found the readings mesmerizing. I've seen my own as well and now medical science is using auras to find out where in the body the patient may have a problem. If the person is ill there will be a break in the body aura. Scientists also feel that when someone has lost a limb (especially a leg) the patient will often say they can feel an itch, but, the leg is not there, but the aura is! So, in reality the leg is not lost at all. The leg is physical, the aura I do believe is part of the soul. Once we die the energy leaves our body and the aura soars away. If we are more aware of what is around us, the 5 senses will kick in. Sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. Most of us are so busy we do things automatically, but if we took more time to "tune in" and use those 5 senses I think we could be more psychic than we realize.
  • It doesn't mean the psychic ability lies in the hidden parts of the brain.
  • Through the study and further development of mind, these things can be known. The brain is an organ of the body. it is not the mind. The conscious mind works in conjunction with the brain to gather information through the five senses. This information is stored in the brain to be recalled as needed for reasoning. It is through the use of the process of reasoning that intuition is developed. Intuition is a function of subconscious mind. The occasional psychic experience that we all have happens I see as a reminder of who we really are and serves to stimulate us to find out. Unfortunately, too often, it is kept in memory as simply a fascination rather than investigated so that further understanding could be developed. There is no such thing as coincidence or luck. By understanding how the mind works one can know how everything is caused from thought. To start with, everyone needs to keep a"psychic log, detailing impressions and the results", so as to see how it feels when the impression is correct, building trust in this ability.
  • I think anyone who is willing to learn and put in the work can do anything and I think the human brain is capable of a lot and yes, you can 'make' yourself psychic. I wouldn't rule out anyone just because they weren't born with this ability, but humans can learn and that is one of the things that got us where we are.
  • Some people don't believe in it or just won't listen they start to think its a joke and there's no such thing. People may think its a good thing and thinks its amazing but Iit can upset some people and can experience dreams which come true and having dreams about strangers who one doesn't even know should we say it's the Spirit world. Spirits also be seen as ghosts. Some people can see spirits or ghosts and many can't and no one knows why. Young children to teens are more open to seeing spirits or having psychic abilities and it can be quite frightening unless understood. You just need to keep attention and open be confident don't be scared. Everyone's psychic we would be all telepathic if we didn't have mobiles or home phones to contact each other.
  • Be very careful lest you risk making yourself sick, or even worse, psychotic.
  • There is a theory going on that we've had psychic abilities from the beginning on. This could explain how buildings like Stonehedge and the Great Pyramids have been built. The theory is about ancient people having psychic abilities, and by the use of tools, those abilities were used less and less, so it gets trained and maintained less and less so it degrades and gets worse. This can be compared to physical condition: when one trains, his condition goes up but when one doesn't exercise anymore, the condition goes down. So this means that the only thing to do is: exercise in psychic powers! And also, you have to believe, or you won't succeed anyway... For example, when you want to learn telekinesis, go focus on an object for at least 3-5 minutes and don't get distracted, then the only thing you see clearly is the object you want to move. Start small though, with things like pieces of paper and other light things. When you are focused enough, visualize the object floating upwards in your mind, moving without anyone touching it etc. You can also visualize the object standing on one side, as starter, and if you do this a couple of times, the object may just move once. The mind waves then are strong enough to move, or in a more related way, the mind waves (energy) is converted to kinetic energy and stored in the piece of paper. When enough energy is stacked up, the paper may move! I have tried this half a year ago myself, and one side already vibrated the first time!!

Answer: It has been proven that everything is made up of energy. The ability to be intuitive is within everyone. The secret is to raise your awareness/vibratory pattern to be able to access the energy of information. In addition, pure intent is also extremely helpful in working toward this goal. Remember, greed or ego will not only thwart or diminish the ability but can open you up to some regrettable consequences. Meditation is the best way to access your higher self, your inner self or whatever tag/name you wish to call it. Practicing deep breathing until you can reach that still part of yourself. Good luck!

Does Scorpios have the ability to psychic?

Well technically everyone has the ability to use pshychic abilities. Yes some peple may have a much more access to their abilities than others based on their astrological sign, but everyone has the ability. You just need to unlock them through heavy meditation and things like that. What I do is I just go with my daily life, but I pay much more attention to what I feel and/or see.

Are ghosts and orbs real?

That would depend on what you believe, yourself. Something that can't be proven...such as this...is often left up to opinion and debate.

answer

it depends what you experience I believe in them because I see them. They are real trust me!

Can you turn into a succubus?

Another answer from our community:

You can't. Demons are completely separate entities. God made the angels, the demons are fallen angels, and therefore, unless God himself decides to turn you into a Demon (not impossible, but I can rest fairly certain that its not even remotely likely), there is no way. You might be able to be possessed or even act as some sort of symbiotic host to a demonic entity, but you would never become a demon yourself.

What is telepathy and precognition?

It is the ability that allows two people to communicate using the power of thought (i.e. not using physical communication methods). In fiction, this is extended to controlling other individuals with the power of the mind (there is no indisputable evidence of this ability in real life). Some conspiracy theorists suggest that various government agencies or nefarious groups utilize telepathy, by psychic ability or technology.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that some individuals may have "shared" thoughts, and this is especially noted among twins. But no way has been found to develop this as a science.

Answer 2:

Science is going to change.

I generally agree with the first answer to this question. However, there is more to it than that.

Telepathy is the universal language of Spirit. It is how people on the Other Side communicate with one another. The reason why we all don't go to Telepathy 101 in grammar school is because of the antiquated understanding of telepathy within the field of Parapsychology and Transpersonal psychology.

Telepathy is a function of one's spirit, not of one's brain. When we are corked up in three dimensional bodies, we are cut off from The Light on the Other Side - the non-living higher power that is the energy source - that naturally allows for easy telepathic communication. Like a land-line telephone that is not plugged in to a phone jack, when we are in bodies we no longer have that communication advantage until we return to The Light.

That is why telepathic communication here, among those in the flesh, is so unstable and so unreliable. In order for it to work you have to enlist the help of spirits to take the message from one person in the flesh and then relay it to another in the flesh. Spirits are people, each with their own personality. You can't turn them on and off to help you like you do a light switch. This is also how Gifts of the Spirit operate. They manifest when the spirits who are causing them to happen decide to make it happen with their access to The Light. Assuming of course that there aren't other spirits who are opposing such a transmission, and thereby damper or prevent it from happening in the first place - which also occurs.

The Spirit World is likened to a large number of special interest groups, all of which use telepathy constantly.

Want to know what telepathy feels like?

Take note of your dreams. They are all based in telepathic communication. Contrary to the distorted paradigm of Sigmund Freud, when we sleep at night one part of our brain does not activate to create dreams for us. Instead, what really happens is that when we are asleep or in a meditative state, we are more receptive to telepathic messages from the Other Side that are often projected symbolically. As a spiritual medium, this has been confirmed to me directly. I have had situations whereby I would be communicating with a Spirit Guide in a dream; to then wake up and continue the conversation. *LOL*
