L'ile de la Cite is an island tha is the center of Paris. It contains the Notre-Dame, as well as several other historical buildings. There are about 7 bridges connecting to it from the land. That's really all I know.

The closest metro station to Notre Dame is Cité station, which is on Line 4 of the Paris Métro. It is located just a short walk from the cathedral, making it convenient for visitors. Another nearby option is Saint-Michel station, also within walking distance and served by Line 4 and RER B and C lines.

Zurich to Paris on the TGV (fast train) is 4.5 hours.

Basel to Paris on the same train is 3.5 hours.

Geneva to Paris is also 3.5 hours.

It sounds as if you live in Nepal. I have been there 4 times, and hope to return many times.
