Salt is a solute in water that will raise its boiling point and lower its freezing temperature. (this is why you put salt on ice to melt it, and why the ocean doesn't freeze solid when lakes will) Conversely, if you put it in a pot of water, it will allow the water to get hotter before it begins to boil. Without salt, it will be at 210 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on how much salt you add, this number can go up and up. So, the spaghetti cooks at a hotter temperature with salt added than without.

For generous main course (entree) portions -

If you are serving the lasagne with just a simple side-salad, allow 225-250g per portion.

If you are serving it with chips (fries) then allow 200-225g per portion.

Pasta contains lots of carbohydrates, protein and fibre with just a little bit of fat. The calories start to pile on when you add extras such as sauce and bits of ham and mushroom etc. Overall, it is avery healthy option, just be careful of what you put on the top

Pasta is a source of carbohydrates, so to the extent that the body needs carbohydrates, absolutely! And most pasta is pretty much low or no fat. The sauce eaten with the pasta is often very calorie and fat rich with meats, oils, cheeses and butter. A good marinara sauce and pasta can be a pretty low fat meal. And buying pasta with a higher fiber and grain content and marinara without sugars and corn syrups will help. And don't over eat!

If the stain has been washed and dried...then you may be stuck with it, but if it is a new stain...I use Mean Green on my family's and my clothes and removes stains better then most stain removers, it is really good at removing greasy food stains. You can find it in the same sections as the 409 (which I used to use on stains until I switched to Mean Green).

Blot the stain immediately, then run cold water through the BACK of the stain. Then apply liquid soap/detergent and work it in. Rinse and repeat until stain is gone; you may add a step of bleach or lemon or vinegar if fabric is white. The key seems to be to repeat until stain is gone without letting fabric dry! Once fabric dries, the stain sets.

i am in a family of four, and only 3 of us eat spaghetti bolognese.

so if you look in every household with 4 people, you are bound to

find atleast one person in each family that doesnt eat it.

if your cooking it in the microwave boil the kettle and fill the bowl until the water is above the pasta and put it in the microwave for 10 minutes. Do the same if you are cooking it in a pan, but instead of putting it in the microwave put it on the stove.

There are a million casseroles that call for cooked pasta as an ingredient. Even if it's not the right shape, just cut it into small pieces and it will work. Then there's pasta salad. Chop up your favorite salad vegetable and toss them with the pasta and your favorite dressing. Lastly, make your favorite pasta sause and while it's still simmering, add the cooked pasta to heat through. It's almost as good as fresh.

As long as it has not gone bad by sitting out after being cooked or by sitting too long in the refrigerator, no, cold spaghetti will not make you sick. It is not recommend to eat cold spaghetti if it's been in the refrigerator for more than three days.

You should heat up the sauce until boiling. Heat up the noodles in a colander by pouring boiling water over them.
