How do pentecostal feel about the practices and beliefs of catholics?

This may not be typical of all Pentecostals, but my grandfather (a member of AOG) called them "demon worshiping catholics" and forbade my father to get a degree at their local college (at the time the only college within 100 miles of where they lived), thus preventing my dad from becoming a pharmacist.

What is the difference between Pentecostal and Baptist church songs?

Many Baptist churches use older hymns in their services such as many of the Gospel revival songs written during the Ira Sankey period. Some less traditional churches use choruses and more contemporary worship songs, which are very similar to those used in a Pentecostal church.

Another answer:

There is not a lot of difference. Different churches have different styles of music, even though they all can be the same denomination. The main differences would be songs that share, or do not share, in doctrine. A song like, "Nothing But The Blood of Jesus" could be played in any Protestant church. But a song like "Holy Ghost Power" singing about the baptism of the Holy Ghost, would not be heard in the Baptist churches.

So the songs will be doctrinally different, but more often will share more songs than not.

What does self-denial mean?

Self-denial is when you can no longer look into the mirror and look directly into your own soul. Self-denial is when you can no longer control your own thoughts.

Self-denial is when you can no longer look into the mirror and look directly into your own soul. Self-denial is when you can no longer control your own thoughts.

Answer

Self-denial is not accepting what your gut feeling is saying to you. Or letting someone else cajole you into doing something that you know will not be at your vibrational level and letting someone bring you down to their level of acceptance of who they want you to be in their life and not who you really are. I have been there and done that.

A Christian perspective:Jesus called for those who would be His followers to exercise self-denial:

Matthew 16:24 - Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. (Parallel passages at Mark 8:34 and Luke 9:23.)

Human nature calls for self-gratification ("If it feels good, do it"). Jesus challenged his disciples to completely reverse that tendency; to understand that there are more important things in life than bellies, libidos and selfish pride; to deny those and "take up his cross." That is, to do the hard things that human nature rebels against, and to put Jesus first in life, others next, and ourselves last. That is self-denial.

John 12:25 - "He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life."

The same thing happens to me. I was just telling someone who believes in signs and I see this number all the time. It just so happens that with me my Birthday is January 28. So that makes it scarier. I get off the phone and it will say I was talking to someone for 1 min and 28 sec, or I randomly look at the time or like you mentioned license plate. It happens all the time.

Is Africa the mother land or Israel?

The mother land? The "beginnings location" according to the Holy Bible (Genesis chapter 2:10-14) is where the Pishon, the Gihon, the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers were...that general area. Two of the rivers seem to have disappeared though the Tigris and the Euphrates still exist. Africa is the pro-evolution theory group choice of "beginnings location".

AnswerSince the first humans evolved in Africa, it is understandable that some would wonder whether the biblical Garden of Eden was also in Africa. However, it seems clear that the biblical authors believed that the legendary garden was somewhere in the Middle East.

Russia is the motherland. Israel is the holy land.

What is the difference to commit to god and committed to god?

"To commit to god" is that you have to yet commit your ways to the favour of god and his likings. It is that you have to change your way of life or your choice for God's choice in your life. Whereas "Committed to God" refers to a life which already walks according to the path and will of God. He or she has submitted his or her complete life to The Eternal One and only looks forward to the purpose of God in his or her life.

What is the Seventh Day Commandment Keepers Church Of The Living God?

I happen to be in this religion. We are Christians. We are a holiness church and we believe in the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Ghost). Our day of worship is on Saturday hence "7th Day" and when abide by the law of the Ten Commandments hence "Commandment Keepers". We believe that he rose on the 7th day, Saturday, and not Sunday. The commandments also stated that "God blessed the Sabbath Day (meaning 7th day) and hollowed it." and in the creation of the earth God rested on the 7th day, so that's why we worship on Saturday. We also go by the dietary law which is also in the Bible(Deuteronomy). We don't eat certain foods such as pork and fish w/o fins and scales. Other Churches outside of mine with the same beliefs may approach some things differently but we usually are all the same. There isn't many of us but we are a powerful church who loves God!

My church's name is Bible Way which is located in different locations(10) throughout the western part of North Carolina and one located in the eastern part (Goldsboro, NC; my location Bible Way #2). Our Headquarters church is located in Statesville, NC. We also fellowship with other churches such as Lily's Chapel and Ram in the Bush. We have family from Florida to NY and we welcome anyone with no judgement but with Love.

I hope this helped!
