Hi, The yellow discharge is not pregnancy related hun. This is caused by a yeast infection. You will need to go to your pharmacist for some cream or a pessary for yeast. This will clear it up. You cannot have unprotected sex while you have yeast or you may pass it to your partner and he in turn, can pass it back onto you again. Men do not show symptoms of yeast infections.
Yes it is possible to still have your period while pregnant although any sign of blood after determining that your pregnant should not be taken lightly and you should go see your doctor asap just to make sure that everything is ok and to start your prenatal care if you haven't already done so Congratulations! good luck. To me the opposite has happened. I did a preg test and it was negative. Then i had a two day peiod and i am still feeling sick. After i eat food i feel sick. This hasn't happened be4 and i suspect and pray that i am pregnant. I think you should go see a doctor cos you might be pregnant. Good luck. Maybe you should make a doctors appointment and have them do a pregnancy test for you. You could be pregnant. Sometimes your body has not built up enough pregnancy hormones to make the test turn positive. I would wait a few more days and if no AF test again. If still a negative I might give it a few more days and call my Midwife or clinic.

All I can tell you is that I am a little over 8 weeks pregnant and have had brown spotting off and on for the past two days. I also had some spotting about a week ago for about 5 days then it stopped. I called the doctor about this twice and she has told me not to be worried as long as I don't have severe cramping and bright red bleeding or pass clots. I am not really sure what to think. I have already had two ultrasounds where the heartbeat was found, and I do understand after the heartbeat is found the rate of continued pregnancy is a little over 83%. Normal geststion is 40 weeks, you really don't want to have your baby early even though everyone is very tired of being pregnant by this stage of pregnancy. The last four weeks of your pregnancy may be the longest month of your life! Be patient and don't do anyhting to try to "induce" labor, nature has it all figured out and usually the baby will come when it is supposed to. Generally between 38 and 42 weeks.

I'd like to add my story, I had my "period" through the first 6 months of my first pregnancy at age 20. It was as normal and heavy as any period I had ever had, I didn't believe the doctor when he told me that I was pregnant I even took 2 at home test and both gave me a negative reading. The doctor stated to me that my hormone levels were low and that was why I still had a "period" and had to have a blood test to determine that I was pregnant.
