Periods while Pregnant

If you are having a period, you probably aren't pregnant. And a heavy period isn't a sign of pregnancy, but a light period can be.

My sister's period came on with each of her 3 children, and it wasn't spotting either. I'm not sure why yours is heavy, but for sure women can receive a normal period and still be pregnant. Be sure to check with your OB/GYN. Good Luck.

yes, you can bleed wen you r pregnant my friend didnt find out she was spregnant until 7 months gone!! she had a regular period but she was still pregnant so there is your answer! there is nothing to worry about babe!!!!!

If you ovulated late in your cycle, and the blood test was too early, it could be possible that it was wrong. you should wait a week and see if your period shows, if not you could retest at that time. ~pawsalmighty

I had Implantation bleeding 2 weeks before my period got my period so can't be pregnant. You should take a pregnancy test or go to the doctors and see what's wrong with your periods. Irregular periods could of caused it.

It is related to hormonal fluctuations- progesterone and estrogen changes. It could be many different causes however. It could possibly be early stages of menopause, but it could also be related to pregnancy, new birth control, medications, increase in stress/sleep disturbance, and more. It would be best to ask your doctor if you are experiencing sudden spotting between periods to look into the cause. What may have happened is that you have miscarried during your 5 day bleed and some of the hormone is still circulating in your bloodstream and passing into your urine. It depends on how regular you are, your age, stress levels, and any hormonal changes you might not be aware of. Sometimes if you're younger your cycle is bound to be irregular.You might be pregnant, and sometimes symptoms don't show at all in some people, if you have had unprotected sex or did not practice safe sex. Take a home pregnancy test to be sure though.
