Tinkerbell is mean?

Tinkerbell is not mean, per se. However she can be emotional. This is because of her fairy size. She is tiny and therefor can only hold one emotion in her at a time. So when she is jealous the only thing that she can think of is jealousy. She will act only thinking of jealousy and will act quite spitefully. It is not her nature to be mean and truly is innocent at heart.

Did Jane and Peter Pan fall in love?

Do you mean in the movie or the book? As in the book we didn't know as much about Jane as we did with Wendy; except that she (Jane) was the daughter of Wendy and came with Peter Pan to Neverland. She had a daughter, Margaret, and that's probably the little we learned about Jane in the book.

But in the movie, we learn much more about Jane, both about her personality and appearance.

Personally, I don't think Peter and Jane fell in love, the very idea (in my opinion) is somewhat crazy. Jane is so unlike Wendy and I never think Jane had a crush on Peter as Wendy had. Jane's more like Wendy's father. This is a short text I found about Jane:

''As a young child, Jane believes in Neverland and enjoys hearing her mother's (Wendy's) stories about Peter Pan. However, when World War II breaks out, her father is called to serve in the war and Jane is asked to take care of her mother and brother. As the war goes on, she becomes cynical and stops believing in both Neverland and Peter Pan.''

It was a while ago I watched Peter Pan and the Return to Neverland, but I certainly remember that I didn't like Jane, and that she didn't like Peter that much at the beginning.

But that kind of changes at the end when she says something like: ''I will always believe in you, Peter Pan.''

And I remember that she said so in a dreamy voice, *hmpf*.

So.... Jane maybe had a tiny crush at Peter Pan at the end (who could blame her?), but I found it quite impossible that Peter returned those feelings.

OUT OF TOPIC:

I've always believed that Peter and Wendy had feelings for each other.

The author himself wrote that Peter loves Wendy; ''however, it is not a romantic love, he thinks of her as his mother. Barrie attributes this to "the riddle of his existence".''

Hmpf. We all know that Peter loved Wendy, anyways. With and without any riddle.

What book did Peter Pan appear?

The first book Peter Pan appeared in was The Little White Bird by J. M. Barrie (1902), a kind of fantasy book for adults which included a long section about this baby boy who refused to grow up.

Barrie used the character in his famous play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up (1904), which he adapted into a novel called Peter and Wendy (1911).

How old is Peter Pan?

The age was never specifically determined by his creator, J.M. Barrie. But the Peter Pan statue in Kengsinton Gardens, London, was designed with photos of a 6-years old Michael Llewelyn Davis who was Barrie's friend and this intent for the statue was Barrie's own vision of Peter's age. In the book's text content Peter acts and speaks like a 5-6 years old and physically he's described to still have all his first teeth - whereas all the other hints refer to an 8-years old at the oldest. Barrie also allowed early illustrations of his novel to portray Peter as a few years older than six. But mind you, Peter unavoidably gets a little bit older every time he leaves Neverland to visit London, and he did this a lot during the first few years (described in the other canon novel Peter Pan in Kengsinton Gardens.) So...Judging by all the facts, J.M. Barrie intented Peter Pan to be something between 6-8 years old.

Disney, for some reason, chose to increase his age to some 12-years old in their own vision. (Although they used a 15-years old voice actor for the 1953 cartoon which I find very stupid seeing to that Peter's supposed to be a child who won't grow up and a 15-years old is a teenager as in quite grown-up already.) The 2003 live-action movie which borrows stuff from Disney but is not Disney's product, means Peter to be 12-years old.

But, as said, the authentic, original Peter Pan is supposed to be something between 6-8 years old.

In number of years in existence he is in the least many decades old, perhaps even over a hundred years, as the novel 'Peter Pan' reveals Peter was a legend already when Wendy's mother was a little girl.

How do I find out what happened to Peter Pan Studios in Chicago and how can I obtain copies of negatives?

Sheridan Peter Pan closed it's doors owing lots of people money and photographs. They took money from people knowing they were going under and these people would never see their pictures.

I was 18 years old at the time and my final pay check bounced. The owner, Robert K. Olsen, locked the doors, removed his personal belongings and never to returned to the North Ave. location again. Negatives and prints were thrown in the alley once the bank foreclosed back in '85. Many people contacted the City Attorney's office to file complaints to no avail and Olsen could never be touched since everything was in his wife's name. Besides Olsen. other scum would be Curtis Pierce and Bob Eaton to name a few. Dean Hickstein

Did orphans come to the opening night of Peter Pan?

No, that was one of many "dramatic licenses" taken in the movie "Finding Neverland". The opening night was attended by the usual theatre-going audience, many of whom were expecting another polite social satire with romantic themes, like Barrie's previous plays.

The only precaution taken in case the audience didn't respond was that the orchestra musicians were instructed to clap when Peter asks for help saving Tinker Bell... but they didn't need to: Nica Boucicault (who played Peter) was overwhelmed by the audience's applause.

Is Peter Pan selfish?

Maybe somewhat, but in the end, no. As he does agree to let, and even helps, Wendy and her brothers and even all the lost boys to leave him even though it hurts him bad and he really needed Wendy. He closes the nursery room window though in efforts to still keep Wendy but as Wendy's mothe rpleads him, he gives Wendy back. And during their adventures, when they were in a death trap, and only one of them could be saved, he sends Wendy to safety and stays behind himself. This is the point of the legendary line "To die would be an awfully big adventure." He however is saved by a neverbird, who gives her nest for him to float on - and Peter carefully places the eggs to a safe place before using the nest. So no, he is not selfish.

Does Wendy like peter pan?

yes but since he has not grown up and is just a boy he does not know how to deal with those feelings and treats like any other lost boy. In the original book, Wendy asked him "What are your real feelings?" and he answered "Those of a devoted son, of course." He loved and needed her as a mother-figure and he highly appreciated and respected her. But in the 2003 liveaction film they made it into a two-way romance and made them fight, and pretty much drowned the mother-issue. But in any case, yes, Peter definitely likes Wendy.

Yes Peter definitely loves Wendy and highly respects her but he sometimes refuses this feeling because he thinks that to love someone means you accept to be be a real man.It was proven that he cares about Wendy a lot when Hook stated that Wendy will one day grow up and leave him and she will replace him with a husband leaving the window close behind her this made Peter very depressed and loses the will to live..Wendy later saves him by giving him a thimble(kiss)this made Peter very happy and another way to prove that he cares about her a lot and doesn't want her to leave him is when he visited Wendy's home and sees the window still open and her mom was waiting for there return he quietly whispered "We both cant have our lady"which he means that only one of us gets to have Wendy.Years later he visits Wendy again but he was sad for Wendy was a woman now and she had a child named Jane and her refuses to believe that it was true soon he befriends Jane and Janes sbilings and then even Janes own daughter he said that he will continue this pattern for as long as it takes and finally He admitted 2 hook that the reason why he wanted to grow up was to become a father then he married Moira Wendy's grand-daughter and they have 2 children named Jack and Maggie to whom he will always love and cherish and tell them stories about a boy who never wanted to grow up and he's amazing adventures in Neverland..
