How do you make a house costume for Alice in the play Alice in Wonderland?

Presumably this is for the scene when Alice is stuck in the White Rabbit's house.

The first step is to get the basic Alice costume. The easiest and most recognisable look is that from the Disney adaptation.

You need a blue dress, a white pinafore, white stockings, black shoes and a black ribbon for your hair.

Then, for the house, a painted cardboard box is probably the simplest thing to do.

Cut out holes for windows, use the flaps of the box to make a pitched roof and add a cardboard tube for the chimney. Then decorate the box to look like a quaint little house and put it on over the Alice outfit.

Is there a recording of A Midsummer Night's Dream with William Hurt in it?

Yes! It's on video tape. William Hurt, and of all people Emmanuel Lewis both were in an NYC Summer in the Parks performance sometime in the 70s. I know because I watched a copy of the tape in college back in the 80s. When I was in college, the tape was at the University of Maryland McKeldin Hall Library.

It was a fine performance and believe it or not, from time to time, I search for it, too! I would really like to see it again.

How is Lady Macbeth's response to Macduff 'What in our house' an error in judgment?

It is a selfish and superficial remark. The king has just been stabbed and she's worried about how hard it is to get bloodstains out of the carpet.

If she is planning to look the innocent flower while being the serpent under it, she should have showed more shock and concern over the fact that the king, the beloved Duncan, was dead.

What is the significance of polonius advice to laertes?

What Polonius says might seem like practical and wise advice. His closing exhortation, "to thy own self be true" is often sententiously quoted. The significance of this fatherly advice is that when we find out, in Act 2 Scene 1, that Polonius is sending a spy to check up on Laertes by slandering him about the town, we realize that Polonius himself is not to himself true and he is, as we increasingly find out, false to every man. He doesn't expect Laertes to listen to his wise advice, because he wouldn't think of following it himself. He is just putting on a show.

Brutus says For let the gods so speed you as you love The name of honor more than you fear death What do these lines imply about Brutuss most important value in life?

This implies that honor is more important to Brutus than life itself. This is a very strong claim, but seems to be supported throughout the text. In all of his actions, it is possible to see how his commitment to honor has guided him and influenced his thinking.

Comparing the characters in 12 angry men?

The different characters of 12 Angry men come from various backgrounds, but 11 of the 12 are initially convinced of the accused's guilt. The 12th juror works to set aside each jurors prejudices and fallacies to assure that justice does prevail.

Do you think Iago lust for power destroyed Othello and Desdemona marriage?

No, Iago's power lust has nothing to do with it because Iago could never hope to achieve Othello's level of power in the Venice military because of a law that says that an outsider must always be in charge of the military. And in the grand scheme of things Cassio isn't that much more powerful than Iago so it wouldn't really be worth that much effort just to barelly move up a step. If it has anything to do with the power level it's just the sheer disrespect Iago feels for being passed up for the promotion. But it's more likely that Iago wants to destroy Othello simply because he hates him and for no other reason. Iago gives several reasons why he may hate Othello but he never settles on one; he normally just says that he hates Othello. And if Iago can hate Othello for seemingly no reason what so ever it makes Iago a much for fearful and powerful character.
