If you are saying the game code to redeem yes because it is mature content this is sometimes the same for add-ons. But if you want a 20$ code or something like that and not a game you don't because your getting the code and then buying from PSN not gamestop.

When is the PlayStation network going back up?
The PlayStation network has been shutdown since April 20 2011 after they learned they learned of a network intrusion. Information on the actual Intrusion is limited by security considerations and criminal procedures. Latest Sony post under related link said the planned procedure to restore services regionally first week of May 2011 has been delayed while it is being tested. There also was several messages about starting a program to provide customer bonuses. Why can people hear me but I can't hear them on PlayStation Network?
They can hear you because you mike is working. Check the setting menu for your headphones and maybe set them to only only hear chat.

It is also possible that your profile data, including purchase history and billing address (city, state, zip), and your PlayStation Network/Qriocity password security answers may have been obtained. If you have authorized a sub-account for your dependent, the same data with respect to your dependent may have been obtained. While there is no evidence at this time that credit card data was taken, we cannot rule out the possibility. If you have provided your credit card data through PlayStation Network or Qriocity, out of an abundance of caution we are advising you that your credit card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may have been obtained.
For your security, we encourage you to be especially aware of email, telephone, and postal mail scams that ask for personal or sensitive information. Sony will not contact you in any way, including by email, asking for your credit card number, social security number or other personally identifiable information. If you are asked for this information, you can be confident Sony is not the entity asking. When the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services are fully restored, we strongly recommend that you log on and change your password. If you have a computer with the pictures on it, then plug the PSP in with a USB to Mini USB Cable, open the memory stick on your computer, and drop the pictures in a folder labeled PHOTO, or PICTURE. I'm curious though, how did you submit this if you have no internet.
