Depends very much on age and condition. The 3602 movement was produced by Molnija (USSR) from about 1947 to a few years ago (if/when production ceased is not clear). A variant on the standard soviet open faced Molnija was a 'badged' Serkisof with an embossed train & 'Serkisof - Demiryolu' (iron road) on the reverse. This was apparently for the Turkish State Railway. I have seen photographs of a model which features the Turkish state symbol, the embossed train and the logo (TCDD) of Turkish State Railways, these appear to be the least common. I have a recent example which claims to be 18 jewel but is powered by a bog standard Chinese 17 jewel wristwatch movement. The case is awful staybright rather than base metal and the quality poor compared to Soviet examples E-bay prices range from under £10 upwards, some optimists put them up for ridiculous prices but those that sell seem to fall mostly within a £20 - £50 range. Not a very precise answer, but without complete details of the watch it is the best possible.

Hi...I'm not a watch expert, but in my experience, numbers such as 73069d are usually serial numbers. The best way to tell the difference is, of course, by testing either by acid or electronic tester. If you are not able to do these tests on your own, a jeweler will usually be happy to do the testing for you if they have the time. Also, white gold is much softer than platinum. If your item is easily scratched; on a place that is normally not seen; it's probably gold. Finally, there is ahe heat test. If you are able to carefully heat your item to red-hot then let it cool, you can tell by how it looks which it is. If it is dark and dirty looking (no worries, it cleans off) it is whit gold. If it is still bright and shiny, then it is a platinum metal. Good Luck!

the serial number that tells the date is inside of watch where you can see the mechanism, should be near the top and should be only a six digit number. regardless Columbia quit making pocket watches in 1901. I think they started making watches in 1874. Google "Columbus watch company" you should find all you need.

I own 17 Bud Pocket Watch clocks & am currently restoring 6 of them. I have paid anywhere from $35 for a 'parts only' clock to $200 for a working clock. Very difficult to find one that is 100% complete as there are many pieces that actually complete the clock. I estimate that a complete clock when restored will be valued at $600. That includes replating ALL the gold trim, polish the lenses, new wirng, hardware, chain, & cord, basically to like new condition.
