Hitler, as a dictator, had no need to convince Germans of the need to go to war with Poland. The German people were not outwardly in favor of war with Poland, although Hitler created the diplomatic crisis that lead to the German invasion.

Hitler also ordered a fake Polish attack on the German radio station at Gleiwitz on the night of August 31st. It was designed to make Germans believe that Poland started the war. However, few Germans heard of the Gleiwitz incident before the German invasion. Bottom-line, Hitler ordered the attack on Poland long before most Germans were aware of any pending crisis, and further Germans were not urging the invasion beforehand.

Poland have some sea ports. Most important are Gdansk, Gdynia and Szczecin.

i hope you don't mind that I'll add some extra history into this too... World War 2 started when Germany attacked Poland unexpectedly and France and England declared war on Germany for it. So Poland was on the side of the Allies which included The USSR, America,England,France,China,Australia, New Zealand, and others.

In June of 1941, during World War II, when Germany broke its treaty and attacked the Soviet Union, German forces did in fact fight Soviet troops in territory that had previously belonged to Poland. At that time, Poland no longer existed as an independent nation; however, less than two years previously, the same land now being invaded by the Germans had been annexed to the Soviet Union at Poland's expense.

Over the past few years, polish university graduates as well as high school graduates have been flocking to the United Kingdom for a variety of jobs.

Some work their way up by taking employment almost anywhere; construction, hotel services and carpentry are all really popular amonst younger polish immigrants.

Older immigrants typically transfer to the United Kingdom from Poland because they have a strong grasp of the English language and were promoted by their company of employment. The declaration did not save Poland. Lodz was about to fall, and Krakow fell on September 6. The fort at Danzig fell on September 7, after a week of direct fire from German battleships.

After a surprise Polish maneuver inflicted heavy casualties, the Germans rallied and took 100,000 prisoners. By September 16, German artillery ringed Warsaw, and the Nazis gave the Poles an ultimatum: surrender or face bombardment. The Poles demurred, and endured heavy shelling until September 27. German troops occupied Warsaw on October 1.

On September 17, Soviet troops entered Western Poland. They stopped at Brest-Litovsk, where Germans had allowed the Bolsheviks to withdraw from World War I. Again the two nations carved up Poland.

Yes, to celebrate Easter, people in Poland decorate eggs specifically for Easter. It is a tradition to put painted eggs in a Blessing Basket and then take it to church. Also, for their feast, they make sure to eat eggs.

Poland used to have a large number of Orthodox Christians before the 20th Century, but many of them were forced to convert to Roman Catholicism from the 1950's onwards. The Polish Government also actively assisted and encouraged the Roman Catholics from becoming the majority, largely due to political tensions with Russia, as the Russians were seen as trying to influence or interfere in Polish affairs.
