Well, I'm no expert when it comes to frame/body relations. However, I've found that one of the best places to get parts (or anything for that matter) is eBay. All you need to do is type in the year and make your looking for in the search box, and chances are you'll find someone selling what your looking for. I would also check out Hemmings.com in the parts section. Hope this helps you some.
AMES.com
The 65 to 67 frame is the same. You should also be able to use the same year Chevelle, Cutlass, etc. That being a big SHOULD. Hollander interchange guide available at most salvage yards will help with that.
Parts sources, Used.....car-part.com New...Ames, year one, classic industries, OPG, Goodmark Ind, Performance Years....Just to name a few.
Right side frame behind washer bottle assy. Can be accessed by loosening inner fender.
Make sure the master cylinder is kept full of fluid at all times and put your helper inside with foot on clutch petal, with the car jacked up and stands in place locate slave cylinder on drivers side and place a 11mm wrench on the bleed valve,. have the cockpit man push on the petal and hold it down, then open valve and let air and fluid escape being careful not to get fluid in eyes, tighten valve and tell helper to let petal return. its petal down-loosen-tighten-petal up. Repeat this process several times to remove air.

Others claim to have experienced idling problems with their GTO's aswell before their its' engine computer learned the new flow of the LS1Speed intake. Initially, the car had a bit of a hesitation to startup when the key was turned, but that issue went away as the computer learned. Probably the most noticeable effect the system had was that it made the intake snarl much more audible, which is always a plus.
The 1966 GTO only came with the 389 cid motor. You could, however, get it with the standard 4 bbl quadrajet Rochester carb or the optional tripower (3x2 carbs).

Not in the GTO. You had a choice of 389 Tri-power (19,045) or 389
4 barrel. ( 77,901)
In my 2004 Pontiac GTO, I had that problem. I took it to the dealer and they cleaned out the ignition with some lock cleaner that you can purchase at home depot and they also cleaned the key .
Yes, but the 1968-1972 rears are 1" wider than the 1964-1967 rears. This may cause tire to fender interference problems.
6.5 liter 389 4bbl puts out 335 hprsepower at the crank. The tri power puts out 360 horsepower at the crank.
There is no idler pulley on this year Fiero so you must mean Idle Speed.
It is most likely that if the idle is high and it wont slow down automatically, 1500 or so, that you have a cracked EGR pipe between the intake and the EGR valve.
There are replacements available on line from companies like "The Fiero Store"
In it's original production run, the last GTO was made in 1974. However, it was hardly a GTO, it was more of a glorified Nova than anything else.
Options will change the base figures but Hardtop was 3,753 and convertible weighed in at 3,802.
