Since the parents are a minature poodle and lhasa apso, they technically make a minature lhasapoo. But, you want to be warned because some people sell these off as a designer dog. In truth, they are a mixed breed type of dog(AKA "mutts").

You can put your hand over their ears or put your hand on the back of their ears to block the water.

The larger breed the dog is, the shorter it lives. Collie and poodle mix should live up to ten years or more.

You get a labradoddle! Very large in size but very kind and friendly. Shedding does happen but there isn't a large amount of shedding total! very kind around children very thick haired but cute!

People who are not professional dog groomers shouldn't waste their money on clippers. I made that mistake myself and the ones you buy in a pet store are not cheap and they also are not as good at the professional clippers. I have a Bishon Frise and because she is 'mistake proof' with thick curly hair I will scissor cut her to keep her cooled down in between professional grooming. Her hair grows so fast. With Maltese breeds they are not mistake proof and any slip can ruin the look of your little pet. However, a poodle (if you are not into the fashionable styles) can be clipped. I really suggest you find an affordable professional dog groomer. My dog groomer comes to my home. I bath my dogs the night before and in the morning will brush them being sure all knots are out of them. For my Bishon Frise (about an hours work) and my Cockapoo (1/2 hour) with anal glands extracted and nails clipped it costs me $55. That's a great steal. Look around for Mobile Grooming Services. Be sure they have credentials. You won't regret it! It's easier on your dogs and more convenient for you and much cheaper.

Poodles are really cute because of their fur obviously they come from a higher class dog their fur is really soft and comfy and cozy.

*It depends on how you want your poodle groomed. If you want them to look like the show dogs, then yes, their ears should be groomed. If you just want them as a pet and easy to care for you can have the groomer shape them anyway you want them. I own a Bichon Frize and they have very thick tight curly white hair close to their body. They are actually suppose to have a powder puff face, but my husband and I go camping and do a lot of things with our dog, so I have my groomer sheer her like a sheep (Bichons can get very hot with their coat) and leave her ears on the longer side instead of too short. If you aren't happy with the way your groomer is grooming your poodle then get a picture and show her and tell her that's how you want you dog groomed.

standard and miniature poodles were used for water retrievle. toy poodles were bred for comanionship. in france, white toy poodles were treasured so much, that if a comman person touched one without permission, he would get his hand cut off. though people think poodles are sissy puffballs, they are wonderful, friendly dogs.

Toy breeds, all toy breeds, tend to be a bit high strung. They are typically a bit sensitive to changes in environment and anything new introduced to that environment, even as simple as new sounds. The one way any dog will react if stimulated, say by new environmental factors, is to bark. This is how they communicate (one way, the primary way) and they will do so to alert their alpha (typically you) to potential danger or strangeness.

Toys are also easily excitable. This seems to be one of the reasons that those who own toys choose them. We, like dogs, relate to those around us, and we thrive on attention from them. Dog owners fill some of that need for connection by the relationship they have with their dogs.

In short, the animal will take its cues from the owner and the training they have received, but they will also be driven by their own personality and demeanor. Most toys tend toward hyperactivity, so yes, they do tend to be a bit more vocal and "bark a lot."
