Why does worship help Muslims to feel closer to God and others?

Worshipping in Islam includes many deeds, let us take the daily 5 prayers alone as an example:

Every day a Muslim has to pray to Allah 5 times, during each prayer he mentions the Glorious name of Allah many times, he thanks Allah for His favours, he recites verses from the Holy Quran, he prostrates to Allah & supplicates to Him, he asks Allah to help him in each detail of his life.

This strong connection with Allah will be clearly reflected in the behaviours of the Muslim, even if he makes a mistake he will return to Allah very soon, in the next prayer for example or maybe sooner than its time he will ask Allah for his mercy & forgiveness & consequently he will hasten to repair,to admit his guilt, to declare his repentance from what he did ,then he will hurry up to apologize to whom he had oppressed & give them back all their rights.

So, this way he will be in a permanent repentance & in a great feeling of being closer to Allah as well as being kind, respectful & fair with others.

Allah says in the Holy Quran:

" Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to thee, and establish regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that ye do. "

( chapter 29, verse 45 ). Al-'Ankabut (The Spider)

Why being a good khalifah is important to Muslims?

Caliph by default is good because it is selected by God. unless he be a fake Caliph.

do you believe prophet talked about every detail part of life and did not said abything about political leader of Islam Ummah and left it for people to themselves select any one they like by voting or any other way they wish?

Caliph literally means deputy. and is representative of God in earth for political leadership of Islamic government.

Quran 6:57 says:

"The command rests with none but Allah:"

(the word حکم in this verse (command) has same root and meaning of word حکومت meaning government)

so if prophet is really messenger of God so according to above verse did appoint the Caliph or not?

or left it for people select it?

Quran 2:30 says:

"I am appointing Caliph on earth"

this verse uses exactly the Arabic word for Caliph.

if God appoints Caliph did God appoint the Caliph after prophet? or left it for people select it by voting or shura or etc. anyway voting shura,.. are not appointing by God and are appointing by people.

also this verse:

[We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth [Caliph], so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allah." Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account. [38:26]

uses exactly the Arabic word for Caliph. and God says:

WE made you Caliph. so did God do the same for Caliph after prophet? or this time God chaged his mind and left it people make Caliph by voting or shura or etc?

who Killed Imams of Shia? they all were killed because they wanted to be political leaders.

Do Muslims worship moon god?

No, Muslims do not worship moon god. Unfortunately, some non-Muslims believe that Muslims worship different god than god of Christians or Jews. Those non Muslims are either:

  • having no understanding of Islam religion, or
  • influenced by non Muslims who intentionally propagate wrong information about Islam.

Those non Muslims, mistakenly, believe that Allah is an "Arab god" or a "moon god," or some sort of idol.

It is important to clarify that Muslims worship the same God, the Creator, worshiped by other Heaven religions; Judaism and Christianity. This same God is named in Arabic as Allah. Allah is the proper name of the One True God, in the Arabic language.

Even the Arabic speaking Christians and Jews use the name Allah in their Arabic holy books and worship Allah.

Accordingly, it is a matter of different languages that cause different names for the same God; the Creator, the All-Mighty, and the All-Merciful ;and not a matter of different God worship.

In Hebrew God is called Eloha

In Aramaic, same God is called Alaha

In Arabic, same God is called Allah

In many Muslim countries, they use moon drawing in their political flags. It is just something political and has nothing to do with religion and may be attributed to the use of lunar Islamic calendar.

Why was the Islamic government unique?

Islam, as with Christianity is a faith. A belief system. Not a form of government

Where does Quran say about the two nation theory?

Quran does not say about a two nation theory. Quran says that God (Allah in Arabic) created people in different nations with different cultures, faiths, colors, and/or ideologies to compete together for mankind benefit and for God satisfaction and to live together kindly and peacefully.

quran says:

Meaning English translation:

{ O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. (13) }

[Quran, chapter 49, verse 13]

and says:

{ And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We prescribed a law and a method. Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but [He intended] to test you in what He has given you; so race to [all that is] good. To Allah is your return all together, and He will [then] inform you concerning that over which you used to differ. (48)} [Quran, chapter 5, verse 48]
