Is there any difference between ceremonies of the Catholics and protestants?
I'm not sure what your definition of ceremonies is, exactly. However, Catholics have many ceremonial rituals, while Protestants do not. Some protestants "choose" to follow some of the ceremonies of the Old Testament, such as Passover, but the death of Jesus, who is God, put an end to the rules and regulations of the Old Testament, which required such things as ceremonial cleansing, sacrifice, etc. A protestant Christian still lives by the ten commandments, but can simply talk to God, repent and ask for forgiveness, instead of sacrificing an animal as was done before Jesus came ... and as opposed to going to a priest for confession, as Catholics do.
Protestant Christianity is salvation by grace, not by works and following ceremonial rules. However, a Christian who truly believes and loves Jesus typically reveals their faith by serving God and others. So while "works" are not a requirement for salvation, they are typically a result of a truly repentant heart that is surrendered to the God they love and, therefore, want to share with the world.
Roman Catholic Answerextracted from Modern Catholic Dictionary by John A. Hardon, S.J. Doubleday & Co., Inc. Garden City, NY 1980Catholic Rituals are based on the sacraments which are:
"sensible signs, instituted by Jesus Christ, by which invisible grace and inward sanctification are communicated to the soul." They are real means that effect what they symbolize (what they say is happening actually happens).
a ceremony is 1. a special form or set of acts to be done in public worship; 2. any external act, movement, or gesture accompanying the prayers and public exercises of divine worship.
To the extent that protestants have ceremonies, they are man made, not established by God, and do not effect what they symbolize.

What do Christians believe about Isaiah?
First of all, most Christians believe that the Book of Isaiah was written entirely by one author, although it is written as a personal record of events over a period of more than two hundred years. Scholars have studied the Book and now realise that it was written by at least two authors, separated in time by more than a hundred years.
Isaiah identifies himself in chapter 1 of the Book of Isaiah as the son of Amoz and says that he would write about what he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the reigns of Kings Uzziah, Jotham, Ahazand Hezekaih. In this introduction he makes no claim to knowing anything about the Babylonian Exile, which occurred far off in the future and is described later in the same Book. Nor does he claim here that he would prophecy events or people in the long distant future. However, Christians see it otherwise.
Many Christians believe that Isaiah was important to Christianity because he is seen to have prophesied the birth and mission of Jesus. The most important of these is in Isaiah 7:14. This comes from a mistranslation in the Septuagint, an early translation of the Hebrew Bible into the Greek language, which incorrectly translated this passage to say that a virgin would conceive and bear a child. The correct translation would have been "the young woman", and the young woman in question did have a child a few verses later in Isaiah. Taking a single verse out of context, the author of the Gospel of Matthew relied on this mistranslation to show that it was prophesied that Jesus would be born of a virgin. Various other passages in the Book of Isaiah, such as the "servant songs" are also seen as prophesying Jesus. In no case is Jesus mentioned by name, and there is nothing in any of the passages that indisputably identifies Jesus.
Do protestants believe in the cross?
Yes. Protestants were a group of believers who split from the Catholic church. I believe the split was due to traditions and belief held by the church of old. These days, most Christians believe the same thing, even if they worship differently - that is that Christ was and is truly the son of God. That faith includes a belief in the cross.
Where in the Bible does it says what a man thinks so is he?
Answer:
The scripture is: "...For as he THINKETH in his heart, so is he..." (Prov.23:7).
It's the "spiritual equivalent" of: "You are what you eat." Apart from outside forces and conditions beyond our control... the physical nourishment we willingly consume, for the greater part, determines our physical health.
The Bible speaks of itself as "spiritual bread" for the "spirit" in us, which is our "intellect" or our "mind"... figuratively, the "heart" and core of our being. What a man thinks, therefore, determines his "spiritual health"... what kind of person, character and personality he grows and develops into.
"...It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God..." (Matt.4:4).
"...it is My Father who gives you the True Bread from heaven... I am the Bread of Life..." (John 6:32-35).
"...for the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account." (Heb.4:12-13 NIV)
Wycliffe died of Natural Causes, so in that sense he was not a Martyr. A number of years later however his remains were dug up and burned, with the ashes scattered; to some, this was seen as a form of martyrdom and so for example he is included in Foxe's Book of Martyrs.
What does the Night Vigil symbolize at Maundy Thursday?
The night vigil on Maundy Thursday was the beginning of Jesus' passion. Jesus and the Diciples has already had the Last Supper, and frankly the Disciples were full and content.
Jesus asked the Disciples to stay up and watch while he went into the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. Jesus was very distressed because he knew he was going to be crucified, and he knew what a painful death that was going to be. He asked only that the Disciples stay up and "watch" with him. He needed support, friendship, love. And he got none of those.
Their failure is ours -- they fell asleep. Hence Jesus' famous saying: "the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." You can't really blame the Disciples, they just wanted a warm bed and some sleep.
Jesus knew otherwise, and that is the symbolic act. At Jesus' most dire hour -- when he could have said no to crucifixion, but chose to say yes, where were the Disciples? Asleep. Just like us.
I think that some would say that Jesus was the only one to die for the Bible.
The Bible is Gods law and Jesus came to fulfill the law.By His death ; the law
was fulfilled, and by His death and resurrection ;Satan was defeated !!!!!!
Most importantly, because He died for us Salvation is obtainable through
faith in Jesus!
The question you asked is really a rabbit trail! I tried to answer it with the most important death, and that was Christ Jesus.
Without his shedding of His perfect blood ; there would be no remission for sins. And only by grace, through faith; is Salvation obtainable!!
PS: People didn't die for the Bible they died for their belief in Christ.
Sometimes in countries where religion is restricted, people die for possessing a Bible, as well as for believing what is taught in it.
