I have one and it is really hyper but once you play for a while and wore it out it all least sleeps for 45 minutes, but then hyper again, and you can stop that is if you give it a small bone (for puppy age) or a medium sized bone (for full growth age).

I have two pugs. Senior Adult males that are 25 lbs each. My vet says thay are not overweight, and they do not look overweight. They have beautiful carriages - but they are large pugs. Years ago I had a male pug who was 26 lbs. and he was too heavy. Smaller stature - more fat. I've seen female standard size pugs at 15 lbs. Like people, each is different in overall size.

All the time! but especially from around day 58/60 onwards, My last litter was born a full 8 days early with no signs of going into labour. Most dogs will not eat before labour starts but Pugs being so greedy this is not always the case, don't leave your dog alone from day 58 onwards and make sure you are with her all through labour, It is not possible to write everything you need to know to whelp your dog here so make sure you have read up and talked to experienced breeders as Pugs are very tricky to whelp and need a lot of help. If in doubt go to the Vet, don't take any chances or you may lose your dog and all her pups.

Pugs could never survive in the wild. Considering they were breeded to be lapdog for emperors, their favorite spot to be is right next to you on a bed couch or even in the car :-)

As you are talking about a mixed breed dog, it is very hard to say exactly what the demeanor of the dog would be. When you take two different breeds and put them together, it could have more jack Russel tendencies, more pug tendencies, or a solid mix of both, either way, it is bound to be interesting because they are two VERY different kinds of dogs. Jack's are very hyper, Pug's are NOT.... In fact, in a litter of 5 you could see 5 completely different tempermants.

I have always fed my adult pugs twice a day. While many people feed their dogs only once a day, I have found that feeding them half the recommended daily amount twice a day helps prevent stomach upset, and is easier on the pancreas, too. And, since they get a few little treats throughout the day, they don't go hungry at all.

I have a female and a male poodle that have pretty cute names. The males name is Johnny Depp but when he was a puppy we called him Chewy.His girlfriends name is Foxy Lady. Shes a sassy little pup. Most pugs are not actually fat- they just have been bred to have a naturally stocky body shape which may make them seem chunkier then they really are. Unless their owners aren't giving them a proper amount of exercise or are feeding them too much calorie rich food the pug will stay at a healthy weight but may seem fatter than most dogs. However being a Brachycephalic dog means that they often will have trouble breathing when given exercise. Consequently many dog owners just skip exercising their dogs which may result in the common problem of obesity in Pugs.

Well the pug was first found in a cave. So when a cave man had a pug, he accidentally sat back on it against the wall. Which made the pugs nose be pushed in. Not only its nose but its face as well. =]

pugs are very safe to have around children they are very sweet and very kind and don't bite but they might go blind so get a pug around 1 month of age so you can train them that's all i know

My pug is very good around children. She is very tolerent of being poked and squeezed by kids who don't know any better. She has never tried to bite any one.

The best age to get a pug is when the dog is a baby so the dog can know you better.Rather than going to the pet store and getting a pug at the age of 5 or 6 because the dog wouldn't really know you.

It all depends on the family of the pug. Is the family skinny or fat?? The average weight is between 8-20 pounds. Anything over that is too big.
