Anne Hurchinson was a freethinker. She believed woman had a right just as men to study the laws of God. Where as male puritans didn't believe woman should interfere with the church.

Anne Bradstreet did not intend for her poetry to be Published at all so she did write more about her feelings rather than to teach to others like puritan writers are supposed to do . There for when Anne's brother in-law published her work without her knowing there were poems with signs of disbeliefe and how she felt about religion alot of the time, this led some puritans to feel angry or like Bradstreeet did not really know what she was doing, in all the researc i have done i havent seen much onwhat the puritans thought or saw in Anne Bradstreet but im guessing this would be the reactions from the way the puritans believed and saw in the religion part of life. Anne was a very religious person she just had som,e doubts and she wrote about those doubts in her poetry, and some ohter people might not be able to understand that because maybe they believed differently and maybe didnt have those doubts.

It is not known why Massachusetts chose the Chickadee as it's state bird. The Chickadee became the state bird of Massachusetts in 1941.

The Puritans wanted to reform the Anglican church the Pilgrims wanted to make their own churches. Hope I helped yah ;)

They didn't. The idea of an American Dream is modern. All they wanted was a place where they could live the way they wanted.

The main reason was so that they would have the freedom to practice religion as they saw it.

The original Puritans sought a large reform from what Christianity had turned into during the Middle Ages. They wanted to return Christianity to its roots and not just what people had made it. However, later, Puritan beliefs were used in the Great Awakening (mid 1700s, America) to manipulate and control people so that those in power would not lose it.
