Ray-Ban used to be a top tier manufacturer of sunglasses when they were owned by Bausch + Lomb. However, in 1999 Ray-Ban came under the control of Luxottica and quality has suffered since. I would recommend Maui Jim over any post-1999 Ray-Ban product. However, if you find a pair of pre-1999 Ray-Ban (there will be a "BL" etched into each lens), they should be optically equal to Maui Jim. Ray-Ban will block 85% of visible light with their B-15 and G-15 lenses, while Maui Jim will block 90% of visible light with their Neutral Grey lenses or 85% with their HCL Bronze lenses.

People with light hair and light skin tone tend to go for any colour, but black which has a 'harder' look. But if this look works for you then congratulations.

Brunettes with with light skin look amazing in simple colours, therefore boycott bright colours such as the blue, red and violet.

Individuals with dark hair and light skin, sometimes need more colour, therefore go for the brighter colours.

This was answered by a previous answer on Wiki. I'll just say G-15XLT are green lenses. The G-15 lens absorbs 85% of visibile light, transmitting only 15%. The light transmission curve of the G-15 (showing the amount of light that is allowed to pass through the lens) is similar to the color sensitivity of the human eye. What this means is that the lens transmits colors in the same way tha tour eyes are sensitive to colors. This results in natural vision - true colors that are easy on the eye. The G-15 lens is made of impact resistant optical quality glass. It provides 100% Ultraviolet (UV) protection, is naturally scratch resistant, and has outstanding stability with virtually no time-related fading or alteration of the tint.
