The Caspian Sea is connsidered to be the largest lake on Earth, but is salt water. The largest fresh water lake is Lake Superior which borders the USA and Canada (and is part of the Great Lakes). Depends on the condition. Rabbit ear dubars range in price, these days, from less than $100 to as much as you wanna pay, depending on the condition and maker. It would have been made by Stevens/Savage between 1920 and 1948. Might be worth $75 on a good day.

You read most of the information available right there on the gun. "Acier" just means "Steel" in French. Bayard, the mounted knight, and Demi Bloc are trademarks of the manufacturer, Anciens Etablissments Pieper (1905-1957) in Herstal, Belgium. The 32 gauge shell had a diameter of .501 and length of 2.5 inches. 3 inch shells were also available but few guns were chambered for this length and no 32 gauge shells are available in the US. They may still be found in Europe, but will probably be called 14 MM instead of 32 gauge.

I can tell you that your shotgun was made by J. Stevens Arms sometime between 1914 and 1940, the barrel was cut off and the Wells Fargo markings were added by someone trying to make an inexpensive shotgun appear to be a rare collectable firearm. WF guns were not marked with the brass plates and so many "stagecoach guns" have been faked that there is no collector market for any that do not have solid provinence, ie., a bill of sale from the company identifying the make, model, and serial number.

Forerunner of the 5100 series which evolved into the Savage/Stevens 311. Stevens made a LOT of double-shotguns with varying designs over the years. Depending on condition, yours would bring $200-$350 at retail. sales@countrygunsmith.net

well this guns a verry nice gun made by stevens.stevens made several diffrent types of should we say early 1880 till 1980[ hardware store shotguns]these old guns[1880 till1915]are worth more than later models.your gun is any were from 400 to 700. but in my opinion any gun over 90years old is worth 1000bucks

Riverside Arms was a tradename used by Stevens and later by Savage. Would help to know what other markings are on the gun.

Western Arms Corp. Was a division of Ithaca Gun mfg, from 1929 to 1946. the "Long Range" sxs box lock, with extractors, was made with single and double triggers. The single trigger version in 80% NRA, condition, blue books at about $200.00 the double trigger version in 80% NRA, condition, blue books at about $150.00 either gun sold at a retailor will sell for about $275 to $325 in 80% there really isn't much of a collectable market on the gun. As with many of the early sxs's manfacturing was a little on the crude side with minimal quality control standards. They were good shooters with strong reliable actions. Push in the circle on the grip end of the slide, then the slide will lift off. Clean as you would most any pistol.
