How much does a Saab 9 3 2004 convertible key replacement cost?
They're pretty pricey, mostly because they have to be married to the car by the dealer (or someone with a Tech II, which is a few thousand bucks). A key for a 9-5 was $250 as quoted to me by the dealer, then you have to have the labor done to marry it. You're best off getting a key "blank" from the dealer without the electronics. Then buy a used key off eBay JUST for the electronics. Assemble the blank and the electronic part together and then bring it to the dealer and they will charge you probably 1/2 hour labor for using the Tech II. All in all you should be able to get it done for around $150 total.
How do you replace o2 sensor on 94 Saab 900 se turbo with a Bosch Universal?
Saab used heated oxygen sensors on this year car. There is a heated Bosch Universal sensor that will fit; you cut the plug off your old one and wire it to the new sensor.
If you mean "how can I replace the sensor on my car with the $15 version that doesn't have a heater on it?"...unless you really like check-engine lights you can't. The car's computer will notice the sensor isn't talking to the heater circuit, assume the sensor's burned out, and start throwing codes all over the place.
How do i turn off my daytime running lights on 1996 Saab 900?
Some DRL's can be inactivated via a fuse, others are part of the headlight switch, still others are activated by releasing the parking break on a manual transmission car. I found a tab on the back of my headlamp switch module and bent it over then taped it with electrical tape to prevent shorting out. DRL's are not required by law, and it is completely legal to operate a car without them turned on. I have been doing so for 12 years.

How much does it cost to repair turbo in 2002 Saab 9-5 SE?
Because it is a GM-adapted six cylinder, it costs more than the Saab 4 cylinder engines to repair the turbo. Depending upon the option selected, at an independent repair shop specializing in Saabs, the cost will run from about $1,700 for a rebuilt unit (and may take a couple of weeks waiting for the turnaround on the rebuild) to about $3,000 for an OEM unit. I have three 9-5 models (2001 SE; 2002 and 2003 Arcs) all with the V-6, and as long as the car is still in good shape, I'd generally recommend the cost of the repair but obviously that's a personal choice. Also depends on the quality and trust you have in the repair shop. To find a good repair shop in your area, consider using the Car Talk website. Takes some work/time to read through the comments, but it's worth it to find the right place. http://www.cartalk.com/index.html (Small box lower left - "Find a great mechanic" based on your zip code.

Your infotainment system is stuck on trip computer cleared how can this be reset?
I had the same problem on '03 Saab 93 ss , i over cleared a warning message on the SID , which resulted in the "Trip Computer Cleared " message appearing , very simple fix just disconnected the battery for a few seconds and display returned to normal -reset clock and once car was moving information displayed again on fuel consumption & temp etc....
Hope this helps ,
Just had the same issue with my 2005 Saab 9-3. To reset the SID, remove the fuses from slots 3 and 14 on the side panel that holds all fuses---consult owners manual for precise location. Leave the fuses out for a couple of hours (I removed them overnight), and the SID display will reset....two hours or more is important, nothing happens if you simply remove the fuses and immediately replace them......good luck!
Replace water pump on 1999 Saab?
Remove the airfilter box and hoses down to the Turbo. Remove the Serpentine Belt. Remove the Power steering pump from the engine block but leave it connected. You may have to remove the top piece of the Turbo. There is three or four screws mating the water pump to the block to remove. There is also a coolant hose from the pump to the block that needs to be pulled off. Remove the entire pump assembly. There is about 8-10 screws to remove to open up the assembly in order to replace the pump.( Basically you split it in half) Install the new water pump in reverse order.
Disable daytime running lights on 1997 Saab 900S?
Requires a special diagnostic tool available only to Saab dealers. Take it to the Saab dealership.
...that's right. They hook it up to a computer interface of sorts and make the change. While you are at it you can have a number of other programmable changes done, related to things like adding a second remote entry key fob if you only have one. That's how I know...I bought a 2nd remote entry fob, and had the dealer reprogram the car so it would work...while at it I had him disable the daytime running lights. If you google around you can probably find out what other things you might want to change at the same time. Note about the remote key fobs: DON'T LOSE ALL OR BOTH OF YOURS. If you do, to get things "right" again, they have to replace the expen$ive security unit in the car that interfaces with the fobs. I believe I read somewhere that's about $1000! But if you have one working one, they can use it and their unit to add another. IIRC I think they charged me $50 to program the 2nd fob, and another $25 or $50 to change the running lights. Talk about being held over a barrel!
How many quarts of brake fluid does a Saab 900 hold?
I just changed the brake fluid on my 1987...I bought two quarts and have most of one of 'em left, and I bled each wheel twice. I have a power bleeder, though; if you're changing it with the two-person method - one sitting in the car pumping the brakes, one at the wheels with a wrench and bottle - you'll use two quarts.

Where is the 2002 Saab 93 starter relay?
If you have the "old" type of 9-3 (1998-2002) the relay is located under the dash board by the left front seat foot area. You'll have to remove some kickerpanels to get to it. I'm not sure, but I believe the one you're looking for is labeled 517 (K517?), and is at the middle bottom of the "relay central" panel. Good luck, lad!
How do i replace a Power steering pump in a 2002 Chevy cavalier?
If you have a 1995-2000, remove the serpentine belt if a 2.2L, disconnect the lines from the pump (one should be clipped, the other has a screw fitting), remove the mounting bolts then remove the pump. If you have a 2.2L, then you will also have to remove the pulley so you can use it on the new pump. For this you will need pulley removal and installation tools whish you should be able to acquire through your local parts store. Now you are going to reverse the process: if 2.2L, install the pulley onto the new pump, mount the power steering pump back onto the car. You should torque the mounting bolts to 22-25 ft.lbs (30-34 Nm). Next, reconnect the lines to the pump, with the high pressure line being torqued to 20 ft.lbs (27 Nm). If you have a 2.2L, reinstall the serpentine belt. You should now fill the pump to "full cold" level, then, hopefully with the help of a friend so you don't have to walk back and forth, rotate the steering wheel to lock about 20 or so times (helps if you have the front end suspended). Continue to fill the reservoir until it stays at the "full cold" level. Next, start the car and turn the wheel from lock to lock until no bubbles are produced (if they don't stop, you may have to replace your lines). At this point in time you should have smooth steering. If you do not, you may need to investigate your rack and pinion. -Akumakai
