If another driver cuts in front of you it would be better if you?

It is best not to honk, because it may make them lose control of the car. You should slow down and change lanes. Let the other car go well ahead of you--to me that would be a defensive mode, since the other driver may commit other errors and you won't be near him/her.

Does cruise control make hydroplaning more dangerous or increase the chance of hydroplaning?

When it is raining, the chances of hydroplaning are higher. You see, the cruise control makes every attempt to maintain a set speed. When hydroplaning occurs, the tires lose traction, and as such the car starts to slow down, then the cruise control kicks in suddenly trying to accelerate the car back to the set speed. The cruise control does not know the road conditions or if it is raining, snowing or you are floating on a lake ... it only knows the speed set point and will always do everything it can to achieve that set speed, no matter what. Best advice when it's raining - turn the cruise control off.

Can i see a pics of a 11 year old kid riding a pocket bike?

Probably not. Dude, I noticed a lot of questions about an 11-year-old kid riding a pocket bike...to me it sounds like you want one but your mom says no. So you're going to show her pictures of other kids riding them...to which she will say "if those other kids decided to jump off a bridge, would you go with them?" At least, that's what MY mom would have said. Your mom won't change her mind about this.

How is measuring the distance important for road safety?

A new driver may wonder exactly how much distance to keep between their car and the car in front of them. Drivers must always be prepared for the car in front of them to stop, slow down, or encounter unexpected road debris.

Since road conditions and speed obviously play a factor, there is no perfect answer. Under normal driving conditions, a common tool used to determine a proper following distance is the 3-second rule.

When can you sit in the front seat in NC?

The age varies from state to state. Mostly it is categorized by weight. There should be a child warning above your visor on the drivers side. In California I believe its 12 years or 40 lbs.

Is it legal to flash oncoming drivers of a speed trap?

Different states may have different laws. Where I live it is not illegal. But remember this: A speed trap is only out to catch those that are breaking the law. If you condone people breaking the law then by all means go ahead and warn them, support a criminal. The person that you flash to slow down may be someone that will speed up after they pass the officer and kill themselves or another. It says "Speed Limit." not "speed suggestion." As a first responder I have seen too many people hurt or killed because of not obeying the speed limit.

What are blind spots when drving?

Blind spots when driving are the areas around a vehicle that the driver cannot see either while facing forwards or by checking their mirrors. Typically, the blind spots are located to the rear left and right of a vehicle. Larger vehicles, such as lorries, have much wider blind spots than smaller vehicles such as cars.

To find the blind spots on your car, watch another car approach you in your mirrors until it comes into your field of vision, there may be a point where you cannot see the car at all and that would mean it is in one of your blind spots.

Would it be important for a new driver to have an AWD vehicle in Minnesota?

Sure AWD is a great feature for a new driver to have especially in MN. Because with AWD the driver doesn't have to decide whether or not the conditions are bad enough to put the vehicle in four wheel drive. Because the AWD system puts itself into four wheel when it senses it needs to be, this happens instantly, then takes itself out when it feels it safe to. Another thing AWD is good to have is there are times when you would never put your car in four wheel but wish you could for help staring from a stop or going around cruves on the highway when its raining out. I live in MN and I've driven front wheel, 4x4, and AWD and the best by far is the AWD. Another way to go might be a front wheel drive car with traction control. Traction conrol kind of acts like a AWD.
