Wheels toward the curb. What is a Kerb?
^^^
You aim the wheels toward the curb so that if your parking brake fails, the vehicle won't roll into traffic. It will roll into the curb and be stopped
You could, but it probably won't make any difference in the manner in which the other driver is going to do in the next mile or next month. Some rude drivers just don't care and nothing short of them dying in an accident will ever stop them from driving that way. There are good and bad drivers on the roads. But people seem to forget that driving is a privilege .. it is not a right.
When parking parallel it is best to leave the curb side?
Most states recommend that you keep your wheels about 6 inches away from the curb, but do not penalize you if your vehicle is within 18 inches from the curb. Anything further than that, and you fail the maneuver.
The statute governing this distance is different from state to state, and maybe even city-to-city.
It is your fault, no matter what the speed of the other vehicle was. You pulled out into the path of an oncoming vehicle that had the right of way. You failed to yield the right of way.
What must you do When approaching a school bus that is picking up or dropping off passengers?
If you don't honestly know this you probably shouldn't be driving. If, as i suspect, you are in drivers ed and too lazy to read the booklet, then you are not mature enough to drive and should drop out of the class and wait another year. Driving is very serious, you are taking your life and the life of everyone around you in your hands. It takes a good deal of respect, care, alertness, and skill to safely drive. Please don't be foolish behind the wheel.
Even though I agree with you, they deserve the answer. That's what this site is for after all. What you should do is slow to a complete stop and wait until all the passengers on and the bus has begun moving. :)

Should you be in Drive or Overdrive when driving on the highway?
In almost all cases a vehicle's transmission should be in Overdrive, or the top gear when driving on the highway. This gear selection achieves the best fuel economy with the lowest wear-and-tear on the Vehicle. The possible exception case where it's preferable to use the Drive position is when climbing steeper grades or where the engine needs higher revolutions-per-minute (RPM) to climb a hill or accelerate. Most modern Automatic Transmissions can be safely driven in Overdrive 100% of the time.
An overdrive transmission setting is typically any gear ratio lower than 1.00:1 where the transmissions output shaft rotation speed matches the engine speed. A common overdrive gear ratio would be between 0.85:1 to 0.54:1 meaning the engine runs slower RPM-wise or that the vehicle travels further per engine revolution.
What can you do to avoid problems with an aggressive driver?
Wow this is a very difficult question. There no easy answer. One could spend a lot of time talking about how it started.
But when talking to my pupils about this, Its just let them go, if you cut them up say / wave sorry, turn off to another road. Go park at a manned police station.
As a driving instructor I keep to the speed limit, with or without pupils. some want you to go faster, just let them overtake. Its not your job to enforce the law. You can do this by moving closer to the kerb etc.
I often find that is all you need to do.
In a few days will post a better answer

Why is a variable pitch rack and pinion system sometimes used?
its so that when you are turning greater angles, such as parking, the steering will turn much faster as the teeth on the rack decrease in pitch towards each end of the rack. However, the teeth in the centre of the rack increase in pitch, so the steering is not too sensitive whilst driving in a straight line, as this could be dangerous.
