North Carolina was not a hotbed for secession. But after Fort Sumter North Carolina joined four other Southern states in the Confederacy, they included Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, and finally, the very late entrance into the rebellion of North Carolina in May 20, 1861. The people of this state were virtually dragged into the Southern cause.

The Security Account Manager (SAM) is a database stored as a registry file in Windows NT, Windows 2000, and later versions of Windows. He feels that he is fighting for his country but he wants to make his father proud too but he's a loyalist so he can't go back for his family or else he gets hanged. He gets homesick too for Betsy and Tim. He is scared but grown up. Isn't everyone scared to fight? You would be I would be everyone would.!!

Sam Houston had a extremely poor school experience even for the time at which he was taught. He only had a eight year education from the time he was in and out of school houses between the ages of eight and fourteen. He never attended a school after these years years.

Sam Houston resigned as governor of Tennessee in 1829 due to his opposition to the policies of President Andrew Jackson, particularly regarding Native American removal. Houston's refusal to support the Indian Removal Act led to a loss of political support and ultimately his resignation. Additionally, personal issues such as a failed marriage and financial troubles may have also played a role in his decision to step down from office.

Sam Houston's father was named Samuel Houston Sr. He was a veteran of the American Revolutionary War and played a significant role in Houston's early life, although their relationship was often strained. Samuel Houston Sr. moved the family to Tennessee when Sam was a child, where Sam would later grow up and begin his political career.

When Sam Houston got married in 1829, he held the office of U.S. Congressman from Tennessee. He had previously served as the governor of Tennessee and was a prominent political figure in the state during that period. His marriage to Eliza Allen took place shortly after he returned to Tennessee from serving in Congress.

Sam Houston was in Congress for four years, from 1823 to 1827.

Sam Houston wanted Texas to be Independent from Mexico. North-American Free-Masons joined with Mexican Free-Masons to make an Agreement, in this "Agreement" Mexicans saw themselves forced to give up their lands after several threats coming from the Americans. Mexicans couldn't do much about it and they had to give their lands.

The SAT score required to get into Sam Houston State University is 1,500 out of 2,400 for verbal, math, and writing. It also requires the score of 18 for English, 22 in Mathematics and 24 for Science in ACT.
