I just found Lidocane Plus for sale online at the following site: http://hocks.com/hocks-healthcare/hocks-product/LIDOP4.html
It's less than $8 per tube there (which is about half of what I paid at my local pharmacy), and so I am about to order a half dozen! It is great stuff, isn't it?!
If your pool is properly water balanced and has a pH near 7.5 (certainly greater than 7.2), then it is unlikely that the copper pennies will be a problem with either water balance or stains. Remember that the heat exchanger in a gas pool heater is probably copper and water flows through it whenever the pump is running (even when the heater is turned off). Also, consider that many homes use copper water pipes.
Metals will corrode (oxidize) in acidic conditions with the presence of dissolved oxygen though the actual factors are quite complex. Nevertheless, you should probably scoop out the pennies from the pool after your kids have had their fun, mostly for safety and aesthetic reasons.
Too many pennies(say a gallon of them or so) may cause green water if improper water balance but copper is a natural germ killer so no it can only be a benefit unless they get into your pump.
ANSWER::
Remember that water is a solvent and can dissolve many things. Even if you have a "perfectly balanced" pool ( and realistically nobody does) those pennies will stain the pool -- they are not solid copper and have a mixture of other elements in them.

Is a large painful bump above my temple on my head serious?
this is a fairly broad question, so firstly if you have hit your head recently then you really should go to a doctor. If you're talking about a, painful when pressed, red lump/spot near your hair line on your temples then I think it may be linked to a skin problem called Kerotin Pilaris. It is a build up of kerotin around your hair follicle. It presents itself as small red spots on the tops of your arms or legs and may be linked to this problem too. There are chemical exfolliating creams you can use that have worked well for my arms but I would suggest trying the creams and usual exfolliating creams and let the lumps pass. The is no cure for KP unfortunately, but there are ways to make it better.
RINGWORM!
Is it bad to itch yourself when you have jock itch?
Yes I Have A Skin Condition And I Itched It Alot It Got Worse But i dont itch it anymore
No, scabies is caused by a microscopic parasitic organism called the scabies mite. The bumps and itching associated with it are the result of the parasite burrowing underneath the top layers of the skin.
HPV is a virus which causes a vaguely similar looking kind of bump called a wart, and is also thought to be a cause of some kinds of cancer.
Geez go to a doctor before it spreads to others.
I have had sores for 5 months now. I have been to two dermatologists. Both said differnent diagnoses. I have spent close to $1000.00 on medications, they have not worked. I am getting fed up with the whole thing and just don't know what to do. I have had cortisone creams, anti itch pills, foam in a can that cost 300.00...nothing I mean nothing is working. someone help.
What type of pathogen causes scabies?
Scabies is not caused by a pathogen. Scabies is an infestation of the skin with the microscopic mite Sarcoptes scabei.Infestation is common, found worldwide, and affects people of all races and social classes. Scabies spreads rapidly under crowded conditions where there is frequent skin-to-skin contact between people, such as in hospitals, institutions, child-care facilities, and nursing homes. Prolonged skin-to-skin contact is required to spread scabies (handshakes will not spread it). Sharing clothes with someone who has scabies can spread it, and it can also very easily be spread to sexual partners.
Can you get scabies off of someone's clothes?
Yes, scabies can be transmitted through direct contact with infested clothing or bedding. The mites that cause scabies can survive outside the human body for a short period, typically up to 48 to 72 hours on clothing. However, the primary mode of transmission is through prolonged skin-to-skin contact with an infested person. To prevent transmission, it's important to wash infested clothing and bedding in hot water and dry them on high heat.
SEE YOUR DOCTOR ASAP! This could be a virus or bacterial infection in your lungs or you need new or updated medication. If your sPO2 levels are as low as 80 you need to see someone soon. That should be no lower than 95.
I think I have had these before and they do reoccur. I am not positive about what they are or what causes them, but when you pop them a clear fluid drains out and they seem to dry up. Even if you dont pop them they usually disappear. I have only seen them on my fingers and nowhere else. A doctor told me it was eczema, but I dont believe this is so...they are small and usually isolated....on occasion I have had a small grouping of them form. They are also usually only on the sides of my fingers and not hand or palm. I dont think they are harmful...probably a pore or sweating problem. I would like to know what it is and if you can treat it though.
