A change in colour of discharge and an intense itch needs to be checked out by a doctor. It sounds to me like you have thrush. This is a bacterial infection which is caused by too much yeast.

I have a very similar problem (except I'm 36 and nowhere near menopause.) But I've noticed a severe itching, mostly on my feet, at night about a week or so before my period. I have researched extensively, and found something called "autoimmune progesterone dermatitis". I asked my primary care doctor about it, and he says he's never heard of it. I got a GYN referral, and spoke to the head of the GYN department at the most prestigious hospital in my city, and he says he's never heard of it. I am really, really discouraged because this keeps me awake for hours at night!

My conclusion after the internet research was that the best treatment for this is a hysterectomy. Which is NOT a good option for me.

Anyway, I've tried Sarna (itching cream), lotrimin lotion, benadryl lotion, etc. all to no avail. Most other things I've researched suggest it may be a fungal infection, dry skin, etc. But my feet look perfectly normal and I know it's not a fungus or dry skin.

Is this your first time to have the itching sensation right after sex or a few hours after sex. It does make a lot of difference because if it's a transmitted disease it will take 24 to 48 hours before woman can catch it or even feel it. You could be referring to muscle spasms, which are usually the result of not drinking enough water the night before. Alcohol is a diuretic, so not only are you typically replacing water for alcohol but the alcohol itself is ridding your body of water more quickly than normal. The end result is your muscles cramping up from lack of hydration. Try drinking a glass of water for every few dirnk you have. This is most likely it is Psoriasis, or Eczema. You are probably having a adverse reaction to the type of cloth on your shirt and shoes. It could be the detergent your using. Possibly allergies to something you came in contact with. I suffered with a similar problem

My husband stopped WB XL about 2 months ago and the itching still has not ceased. I don't have any solutions but I am looking. Answer: When I started taking it I got a rash all over. I put some antihistamine cream like benadryl on the red patches were itching the worst and waited it out. The cream really helped, the patches where still red for over a week but eventually went away. It was an initial reaction to the Wellbutrin and every so often i still get a rash here and there but a treatable rash is better than being horribly depressed so I'm still taking Wellbutrin. Just don't scratch, that usually starts the rash or really makes a small itchy red patch become a huge one.

I was just at the doctor and asked about an intense itching on my back. She diagnosed it as a pinch skin nerve. Apparently itching, with no visible rash, is a classic symptom of this type of pinched nerve.

Go to the doctor. It could be a skin disease which causes parts of the body to change color, or what some call spot. Or it could just be very dry skin, but they can prescribe you a very good lotion.
