For some years I have been experiencing pinching under my skin. It's usually in the same area on my left side near my breast but not on the breast. Do you know what causes that?
Please advise.
Can Clobetasol Cream be use for jock itch?
Yes, Clobetasol cream can be used for Jock Itch but not long term. Jock itch is a fungal infection that would need an anti-fungal medication to treat it. Clobetasol would help relieve itching and inflammation but because it is a strong steroid medication, it is not designed for long term use.
What is the effect of alcohol on Jock itch?
If you apply the alcohol externally it will be extremely painful as the Jock itch is a fungal infection that damages the skin's surface. If you think you have this condition, you should go and see a qualified medical practitioner (e.g. a doctor) to get a suitable treatment. By the way the fungus is very contagious.
I normally get that on my thighs in the winter time, but I just put moisturizer on it and it went away the next day. It's probably just dry skin. just got one myself. very scared.. i seem to get weird symptoms lately of God knows what. If it is round it could also be ringworm.

Stop itching skin from a fiberglass pool?
All fiberglass has a final coating of gel coat, it could be marine gel coat, tooling gel coat, or swimming pool gel coat. Typically, swimming pool gel coat will last about 20 years before it loses effectivness. At that point, algae becomes able to "cling", the surface begins to stain, and the actual fiberglass becomes evident to swimmers, causing scratches. There is only one solution, lightly sand off the remaining gel coat, wash down the pool, apply one coat of vinyl ester resin, and roll-on 3 coats of swimming pool gel coat. The pool will be as good as new for another 20 years, provided the pool is properly cared for.

What can you put on midge bites to stop them itching?

not that i know,.. maybe if you`re allergic in one of the ingredients of a certain chocolate..
When a female mosquito, since they are the only gender that suck blood, puts her proboscis inside a skin cell of your own she searches for a blood vessel. When she finds a certain blood vessel she will suck the blood from it. This causes your immune system to try to fight back, causing the swelling. As for the itching, the blood vessel loses nerves when the female mosquito tool blood from it resulting in itchiness.

If you keep itching in different spots and rashes appear and disappear what is this called?
Dermatitis
Same problem I have.. The Doc told me, that when moisture gets trapped in your but crack, it can cause fungus to grow there. This is typical in athletes, and people who do not dry well when they get out the shower. Try applying jock itch, or athletes foot powder to the area. Keep it dry at all times... you will be fine
White or pus discharge from the urethra usually indicates you have an infection that needs to be treated by a doctor, or go to a sexual health clinic, straight away. While it may be only a yeast infection, it can also be a symptom of a bacterial urinary infection, or a symptom of an STD infection.
UTI - Urinary Tract Infection
These symptoms cannot and should not be self-treated. First, many urinary tract infections can travel to the kidneys, creating a bigger and more dangerous infection. Second, an untreated UTI (urinary tract infection) can go "silent", meaning, the symptoms stop but the infection continues unchecked. This kind of silent infection can often enter the walls of the bladder, creating interstitial cystitis, an infection that can cause urinary incontinence, chronic urethral and pain at the urethral opening, etc. The condition is often only found during a cystoscopy, a procedure in which a tube with a camera-telescope is inserted up the urethra into the bladder. This is not a fun or pain free proedure, especially afterward.
STD - Sexually Transmitted Disease
If the discharge is from an STD, lack of treatment can lead to cervical dysplagia, infertility, and other conditions. Even though an STD may *seem* to affect the urinary tract, the urethra and vagina are so close that germs can enter either one.
Yeast
Yeast infections usually have the classic "cottage cheese" appearance, which is easy to notice if you insert a finger into the vagina and withdraw (remove) it. If it is your first infection, you should have a doctor confirm what type of infection you have. "Tric" has a greenish discharge but does not look like cottage cheese, as one example.
A previous answer below gives some self-help for yeast, but as she states, it is always wise to have a doctor check first, before beginning any home measures.
If it just itches but does not hurt, then you probably have a yeast infection. I just had my 1st yeast infection 2 weeks ago and I had done some extensive research on that and cured myself in about a week. I highly suggest going to the doctor first, but if you're pretty sure it's a yeast infection you can balance the PH in you vaginal area by either...
1. Eating about 2 cups of yogurt a day, any kind as long as it has "live cultures" and/or L. Acidophilus. You can also apply PLAIN NO SUGAR yogurt around the infected area, but this will require a bit of creativity.
2. Garlic. I smashed a clove of garlic once a day and downed it w/ water. At night, I would wrap a piece of gauze around a small clove, tie it w/ a string of floss and use it like a tampon overnight.
Garlic and yogurt both have the ingredients to help balance the PH in your vaginal area. It worked for me. I didn't apply the yogurt since I had trouble finding NO SUGAR yogurt at my local supermarket. Either way, I still highly suggest you talk to a doctor first.

It could be several things but the most common is Rosacea. I had this occur once and it seemed like that is what you are speaking of. If the rash appears circular in nature and you skin feels scaly you may have come down with a case of ringworm. Be careul because ringworm will eat you alive and you will be dead within 2 days tops! Just kidding. Ringworm is a common fungal infection that can be relieved with Lotramin AF over the counter. Try it, you'll like it.Rub rub into your skin skin oh what a relief it is!
