How likely is it that someone can get scabies from a massage?
Scabies is highly contagious! I would not recommend such contact unless you want someone else to get it too. If it is you who have it make sure you start the treatment cream as soon as you can, wash your sheets, towels, etc. If you don't know what scabies is think of it this way....it is basically lice under your skin. would you want to give someone with lice a massage?
lesson learned i see sure it will grow back and stop itching in a few days
Could nummular eczema be mistaken as scabies?
It is possible, however the most important thing is to seek treatment for your nummular eczema.
Try to go as long as you can without shaving it so the next time you grow it it won't get itchy until it gets longer than the last time. Eventially it stops bothering you.
It is not systemic - you would be in serious trouble if it was, it is a nerve toxin.
Most of the time it depends, but I recommend using Benadryl. It's made especially for poison ivy and poison oak, but it works good on bug bites or just plain itches. You can probably find it at a local Target or Walmart. Hope I helped =)
What is it if you have a bump on your labia that swells up your entire labia when you itch it?
could be a cyst. look a cyst online compare it.
Sounds like a yeast infection to me. You can get over the counter medication for that.
How do you get rid of swimmers itch in the lake?
Well if you would like to prevent is rub on vix all over your body or get the swimmers itch prevention cream. To get rid of it, in some cases you go to the Emergency room and get a shot and then get prescripted 2 types of meds. Or you can put rubbing alcohol on the irritated area(s) then take an oatmeal bath and put on anti itch cream with that it should clear up in a few days.
Hypochondriasis
What are red bumps on a child but dont itch or hurt but has thick white stuff come out if squeezed?
That's called acne. You can buy face wash at your local wal*mart or get the spendy stuff like Proactive, but it's basicly the same thing, just larger dollar symbols.
Yep! They are red and itchy at first and then seem to heal but leave behind what appears to be permanent brown scars that aren't raised but rather the opposite. Upon close inspection the spots are slightly depressed and faintly translucent. They wont itch anymore but they'll sure take your confidence about your body down a notch. I have them all over my abdomen and a few on my arms and have for years. I could always cover this area with a shirt. Two doctors and two dermatologists were baffled at the site of them. When I mentioned that I was taking adderall and that it might be the cause, they all brushed it off as unlikely. Anyway, I just got one on my face. A big one right on my left cheek. It's just starting to turn brown. I was hoping it was just heat rash or something that would go away. But I fear my mug is now forever compromised by this uncommon and unfortunate side effect of adderall. Being an actor and performer, this poses a real problem for my future. A pretty major oversight on the part of the FDA or makers of the drug. Warnings for this side effect only started surfacing a couple years ago at best, but I've been prescribed adderall for nearly ten years. If you're in a position where you can stop taking it without ruining any jobs and projects you have booked with a 2-4 week come-down then I recommend stop taking it or just lower your dose to half what your prescribed.
Pinworms can be detected if you put a piece of scotch tape around the anus at night. When you wake up, the tiny white worms will be stuck to the tape. Your Dr can give you medication, or he may ask you give some stool sample for an ova and parasite test.
Scabies for sure!
Is a stage one sign of skin cancer itching?
I had this once... a small area on my torso that itched every morning during/after a shower. I looked up the signs of skin cancer and itching was not listed as one of the '7 signs in almost every reference, but I finally found a site that did mention itching. I got it checked out and it was pre-cancerous. It was very simple to fix - the doctor just shaves off the top few layers of skin. That was at least 10 years ago and it hasn't recurred - but get it checked.
If your skin itches and it is red what does this mean?
allergic reaction, fell in stinging nettles, rash, havent washed soap off your skin.
I have the same thing; for about 2 and a half years now, I have been looking around a lot, and the only reasonable answer I found was from a spider bite of some sort, where the venom gets trapped under the skin and irritates the surrounding area once in a while. I haven't gone to the doctors or anything for it; partially because it only lasts for about 10 minutes or so and then goes away and there's no telling when it'll come again.
