Early in September 1989 about 15,000 people from the then German Democratic Republic (East Germany) had travelled to Hungary in the hope of being allowed to travel onwards, through Austria, to the Federal Repbulic of Germany (West Germany). (At the time it was very difficult for East Germans to get permission to travel to the West, but travel to other Eastern Bloc countries was much easier). The Hungarian government was embarrassed by the influx of refugees from East Germany and on 11 September 1989 it opened its border with Austria permanently, and amid much media publicity, the East Germans in Hungary travelled on to West Germany. In effect, the Hungarian government lifted (or breached) the Iron Curtain separating the Eastern Bloc from the rest of Europe. For East Germany and the other Soviet satellite states it was the beginning of the end. Before 1989 was over, all the East European dictators outside the Soviet Union had been overthrown.

First off, you couldn't have actually believed that the Royals were going anywhere but downhill. I'll admit that Pena allows for a small glimmer of hope, but not much else on the team did. Mike Sweeney slides further downhill every year, and the trading of Carlos Beltran doomed the Royals for years to come. At this point, the Royals find themselves in the same position as the post World Series victory Marlins did; rebuilding. If done right, the Royals can build themselves back up to major contender statues by the 2008 season. However, trading for Benito Santiago and Juan Gonzalez (Who boast the combined age of Rome), is not the way to do it.

The Twin Towers, or the World Trade Center, were destroyed on September 11, 2001 in a terrorist attack. They are not still standing today, however there is a memorial in their place.

The complex of buildings was called the World Trade Center. It consisted of the Twin Towers (World Trade Center 1, aka the North Tower, and World Trade Center 2, aka the South Tower) as well as five smaller buildings (World Trade Center 3 through 7), and a plaza with a fountain, some tables and chairs, and trees planted all over.

It was a missle!

There was no evidance to show that a plane hit the pentagon, there was no wings, tail, no nose. Just a perfect hole in the wall, and the survalance tapes, conveniently, all but one of the tapes were "not up and working" that day. But the short clips that were released to the public shows about 5 frams of *something* hitting the pentegon.

And there have been people who slowed the tape down, and all you can see hit the pentegon was a long black figure. stop laughing dirty minded people. But anyway, it didn't look like a plane at all, (which is right) it looked like a missle. And at the end of the "plane" you could see flames coming out of the back, and planes don't do that.

We're starting to put together all the pieces of the puzzle here people. Remember, only believe half of what you see and nothing of what you read. (i think)
