Is Shakira racist?

I think in a suspicious way that she doesn't appreciate very well dark skinned people. Analize who she picked on The Vocie... not one black person, eventough there were two guys (a short boy and the alaskan girl) in the battles that nailed it, but she let them go... just pay attention. Try to rewind. Remember that, eventough she had worked recording with african-american people, thats a JOB that make her win MONEY. Just please pay attention and get to your own conclusions. I hope I'm wrong but I have that spine...

What are the meanings of the words in the 'Waka Waka -This Time for Africa-' chorus?

The chorus is sung in Fang, a Central African dialect. However, Shakira lyrics are altered minutely so as to avoid furthur legal conflicts with Golden Sounds, who composed the original song:

  • Tsamina mina - "Come" (as in to present oneself hither-to)
  • Waka waka - "Do it" (as in to perform an action)
  • Tsamina mina zangalewa - "Who asked you to come?"
  • Anawa (originally ana wam) - "It's mine"
  • Django (originally zambo) -"Wait"

Shakira uses anawa instead of the original ana wam. She also uses django instead of zambo.

What makes the throttle stick on a 1995 Isuzu rodeo stick?

If the trottle sticks on a 1995 Izuzu Rodeo please check under the hood of the car immediatly. The trottle cable comes from around the back of the engine compartment from the left side, and attachs to a pully, which you should see on top of the main engine block, unobstructed, and directly in front of you. A wire cable exits the insulated cable housing before attaching to the pully. If you see what appears to be a melted chunk, or pieces of melted rubber attached anywhere along the exposed wire cable, or on the pully itself, there lies the problem. The faulty "Boot" has detached itself from the cable housing and slide down the wire, sometimes melting, or otherwise, and interferring with the cables ability to function properly, as the sticky substance will continue to melt and harden, and possibly creating a bond with the cable and the pully, and therefore not allowing the pully to return to the idle position. This is a very dangerous situation and you need to take your car to a service repairman. Izuzu has not recalled this model, but has recalled their "Tropper" 1995 model for exactly the same defective part, and will not take any responsibility for the Rodeo defective part until forced to do so by the NTSA. Please register a complaint with them, as this is obviously a very dangerous situation, and another example of this car manufactur's lack of accountability and responsibilty, despite the life threatening issue of the this part, obviously the same one used on the Trooper model, but not yet exposed, and somehow less reported.

What are your rights when you and your boyfriend have been together over 9 years?

An individual in a relationship does not automatically have "rights" to benefits or property owned by the other person involved. In order for either person to have claims to property or income of the other he or she would need to have documentation of such, (written contracts, valid receipts for purchased items, etc.) or reside in a state where the couple has followed the prescribed procedure to be considered to be in a common law marriage.

When was 'Don't Cry Joni' first released and on what album?

"Don't Cry Joni" was released in August of 1975 by Conway Twitty on MCA Records. It was on the album "High Priest of Country Music".

I heard that she relunctant to tape it at first, but her dad told her they just needed her to sing the part at first, & then they'd put another voice in later. Joni Lee was the child at that time interested in a music career. Michael Twitty has had quite a bit of success in his country music career. Kathy Twitty also recorded a song with her dad that's on one of his albums. I really liked her voice!

What is a shakra?

I think you mean Chakra. A Chakra is like a artery for the "spirit". Chakras help to maintain a continueous flow of "energy" through the non-physical body. They can also adversly effect the physical body, ie. if your chakras are unbalanced, you feel poorly or even ill. Look up TREE OF LIFE or KABALA. These are where the idea of Chakras originates. The body has 6 to 7 major chakras. There are minor chakras all over the body. The Chinese call it the Meridian System. ==new answer== The function of a chakra is to return used energy back to mind. Each major chakra corresponds with a level of mind of which there are seven. There is much detail about this in the interpretation of revelation of the bible in the universal language of mind.

As we control the productive use of energy, we have more.
