Can you file for unemployment and claim your new baby without a Social Security number?

Some states do add benefits if there are dependents. What those state's requirements are, however, would have to be asked of them. Not all states include dependents for extra benefits.

What are the benefits of secularism?

imagine a world where people do things based on right or wrong instead of "the bible told me so." It is a lot easier to be able to commit a good deed or act of kindness based on your personal beliefs rather than having remorse and asking yourself "what would jesus do?" I use a lot of reference toward Christianity however I implement this idea to all religions young and old. There is a lot less stress in secularism than being bound by a book or text. Knowing you can get along with the other people on this planet without being bound by these texts allows you to be self-motivated to do the right thing on your own.

Think of it like this. Religion is like a coffee filter. Sure, you get what you want out of it, but are you getting the full taste? If you take away that filter you can "taste" so much more, and you'll wonder why you never did it in the first place.

Does the Social Security Administration have lists of all places you have worked?

No. The SSA gets your annual earned income information from the IRS using your Social Security number. The IRS keeps records of your wages and FICA contributions; the employer name or location is generally irrelevant.

How can you prove to Social Security your disabilty if your medical records are old like from the 1960s and cannot not be located or have probably been destroyed?

The SSA will be the one that you will have to deal with to make your claim for disability and prove to the SSA that you meet the requirements for you to be able to receive the social security disability insurance payment amount.

Go to the SSA gov website and choose DISABILITY at the top of the page or use use the search box for DISABILITY

If you make 50000.00 a year how much would your Social Security payments be reduced at age 62?

This is impossible to answer with the information provided, because the earliest you can file for Social Security retirement is your sixty-second birthday. Bear in mind, when you retire at 62, your monthly benefit will be approximately 75% of the amount you would receive if you retired at full retirement age (probably 66).

There are special earned-income rules for the first year of retirement, such that you are not penalized for any income earned before your date of retirement, regardless of the amount. After the date of retirement, you can earn only $1,180 per month (one-twelfth of $14,160 per year) before incurring a reduction in benefits of $1.00 for every $2.00 earned over the limit.

From age 63 until the year you reach full retirement age (65 if born before 1943; 66 if born between 1943 and 1954), you can only work and earn $14,160 per year without penalty. Income earned above the limit temporarily reduces your benefit by $1.00 for every $2.00 over the limit.

$50,000 - $14,160 = $35,840

$35,840/2 = $17,920

(qualified benefit) - $17,920 = (remaining benefit)

Earnings of $50,000 would temporarily reduce your benefits by $17,920 per year, or $1,493.33 per month. If this amount exceeds your entitlement, your monthly payment would be zero.

When you reach full retirement age, the earned-income cap is permanently lifted, and your benefit will not be reduced regardless of the amount you earn.

How soon should you file for Social Security to draw it at 67?

The Social Security Administration recommends filing for benefits three months before your intended retirement date.

In NC if a parent commits suicide and leaves no will and he has children by 2 previous marriages and has only been married 7 yrs to third wife who is intitled to estate saving and money in bank?

Without a will, the courts will determine how much of the estate goes where. Obviously, the current wife will be entitled to a substantial amount of the estate, but the courts will probably award a share to the children, but the simple reality is, there is no way to know before the judge makes his decision. Understand too that the children will be eligible for Social Security Survivors Benefits until they turn 18. N.C. is a Tenancy-By-The-Entirety state all property jointly owned by husband and wife reverts automatically to the surviving spouse as is not subject to probate procedure. If a title to real property or bank accounts are worded otherwise such as JTWRS or JT, such property belongs to the person named on the title, deed or account. Other property not covered under said stipulations will be apportioned to the surviving spouse and heirs according to probate succession laws. "Heirs" are defined as the biological children of the deceased. NCS. Chapter 41-47

Is the executor required to reveal his Social Security number when liquidating estate holdings?

No, they should not be required to provide their SSN. Estate holdings should be liquidated using the Estate's tax number. If there isn't one, then the executor is slipping up. Worst case would be to use the SSN of the deceased. Transactions have to be associated with a tax number. * The executor/executrix/administrator of the estate (whatever the title) is required to supply his or her SSN as well as that of the deceased or the TID when making a claim for the deceased estate with an insurance company and other such matters.
