Get the blade directly from a Subaru Dealer. The other brands do not fit . I've tried to adapt them, it will not work. Get the whole wiper blade arm and blade from Subaru only. Very expensive for a wiper blade around $18

Where is the automatic transmission fluid fill location for 1999 subaru legacy outback?

There is a yellow dipstick low and near the firewall under the hood. You access it from the driver's side. It's down there, just takes some hunting because there are hoses and things running over and around it. Good hunting!

2006 Subaru Outback and the seat belt chimes are distracting only when you have to back up?

you can disable the seat belt chime by connecting and disconnecting the driver's seatbelt 20 times in 30 seconds with the key turned to on (not running). I've found that it's more important to make sure the seatbelt fully connects and disconnects than worry about the 30 seconds.

Where is the manual transmission dipstick on a 2002 subaru outback?

It's there - you just have to find it. Look on the passenger's side of the engine compartment, down below the air cleaner element. You'll have to stick your hand down below the air cleaner to reach the dipstick. It was originally yellow, but if its like mine it's a bit dirty and hard to see.

Dipstick markings are just like any other - keep the level between the marks. If you need to add oil, you'll need a long funnel to keep from pouring oil all over the place.

Does 2002 subaru outback wagon use timing chain or belt?

Belt. You should have changed it at least once by now. Check your owner's manual but the rule of thumb for a Subaru 2.5L four cylinder is every 100,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first. Change the water pump at the same time. If the belt breaks the engine stops - immediately. --Ken
