How does tanning beds relate to chemistry?

Tanning beds primarily relate to chemistry through the use of ultraviolet (UV) radiation, which stimulates the production of melanin in the skin, leading to tanning. The process involves photochemical reactions, where UV light interacts with skin cells, triggering the formation of melanin as a protective response against DNA damage. Additionally, the chemicals in tanning products, such as dihydroxyacetone (DHA), can react with amino acids in the skin to produce a tanned appearance without UV exposure. Understanding these chemical processes is essential for evaluating the safety and effectiveness of tanning methods.

Which fruit make complexion fair?

Turmeric (the spice) gives you even-toned, clear skin because it is a natural anti-inflammatory. I take one teasppon with millk (not the best tasting) about four times a week. You can increase or decrease this dosage. This also helps with cramps and other ailments. It is in curry and as an East-Indian, I can tell you that we've been consuming this for years. Turmeric is very good for you. It is cheaper at Indian (Asian) food stores than the regular grocery store.

How do you stop dribbling in the night?

Hi! I have the same problem as you do. I'll start with telling you what happens.

-Sometimes I fall asleep while doing things like homework, writing, or reading. When I go to sleep at night my mouth is always closed. But when I wake up in the middle of the night my mouth is wide open with a puddle of saliva near my mouth.

Solutions

- Breath through your nose at night: Sometimes people ( like me ) tend to breath through their mouths. Practice breathing through your nose a couple of times. Or you could just get some type of Breathing Strips.

-Sleep on your back: Honestly, I am not really comfortable with sleeping on my back but it may help. You see, if you sleep on your back even with your mouth open there isn't really a possible way for your saliva to escape.

Eh, that's all I have right now. Hope it helps though!

Is it legal to sunbathe nude in Central Park NY?

No, it most certainly is not. Public nudity is illegal in New York State. The only exceptions are for breastfeeding mothers and for "any person entertaining or performing in a play, exhibition, show or entertainment," (NY Penal Law 245.01). Article 245, Section 01 can be read in its entirety at the Related Links below.

However, note that in the case of the People v. Santorelli (see the first Related Link), the NYS Court of Appeals ruled that "exposure of a bare female breast violates this law only when it takes place in a commercial context," (i.e., topless waitresses). Prohibiting women from going topless, when men are freely permitted to do so, was thus found to be unconstitutional as it constitutes gender discrimination.

So, technically, women can sunbathe topless, but they may be arrested anyway by cops who are unfamiliar with the court's ruling in People v. Santorelli.

Can you get a tan if it's 80 degrees outside?

Most of the time, no. It usually is at least 95 out. But if you are already tan you could just get tanner.

^ actually this persons answer is wrong. I play softball in 70 degrees.. and i tan... alot. Its just the matter of exposed skin and uv rays. Most people do not have their skin fully exposed in 60-70 degree weather. But it is possible to tan... just rays and exposed skin. (:
